Very boring and severely lacking.

I use to play this game a lot when I was little, and back then I thought it was a very cool game, but like I said, I was little and I did not have that much experience with video games, and now that I am an adult who has had a lot of experience with gaming, I see now that this game is not very good and could have been much more.

So, in Monsters, Inc. Scream Team, you have three zones, each containing four levels (12 in total). The first zone has an urban setting, the second zone has an egyptian setting, and the third zone has an arctic setting. The main objective in the game is to scare these things called "Nerves" in every level of each zone until they no longer function, which are androids made to resemble children, and when you scare them, you have to press several different buttons while doing so. You also have to collect little cans of ooze, which you need in order to scare these Nerves, and there are two types: you have green ones (which fill up your scare fuel) and red ones (which fills it up even more). There are three medals to achieve in the game, a bronze medal (which you need to earn by scaring five nerves in each level), a gold medal (which is earned by scaring 8 nerves in each level), and a silver token (which is earned by collecting these tokens that are scattered in all the levels, and there are tens of them in each level). There also enemies in each level, which are little toys made to resemble animals, and they are very easy to kill, as you only need to hit them once, and the game doesn't really encourage you to kill them, but instead avoid them, and they also tend to move slow and are easy to get around due to the wide space around them. Once you've completed a zone, you are to made to race with Randall in order to unlock a thing that helps you get to places you can't reach, the three things you unlock include a trampoline, a speed mat (that makes you run faster), and a flingshot (which resembles an atom and it teleports you to places that you can't get to). You can play as either Sullivan or Mike. Sullivan's attacks include hitting enemies and doing a jump and then a body slam, and Mike's attacks are very similar, he can also hit enemies and also bounce like a ball to crush enemies.

And that's it, it's all as simple as it sounds. I mentioned that the whole objective is to scare these nerves, well that's all you get to do, and it gets very boring and repetitive real quick. There isn't any challenge or fun to be had, it all just feels like a chore, and once you have scared all the nerves, there is really nothing to do after that. Also, once you do achieve all three medals, you are rewarded with a cutscene of Waternoose congratulating Sully and Mike for scaring all the nerves, and then then credits role. Yeah... that isn't much of a reward now is it?

The only good things I can say is that the graphics look nice, the soundtrack is catchy and the game's controls and camera actually work. However when your game is this bland and severely lacking in content, it feels like a waste.

Overall, I really don't recommend this game. It is by no means a terrible game, but barely a good one either. There are far better games you could be spending time on than this.
