The story is about a family that finds out after the death of its pious patriarch that he was a drug dealer. The movie is a basically a reflection on the Egyptian society and the changes it witnessed in the 1970s with the rise of both Islamism and capitalism. The movie explores how the death of the father impacts the family as the eldest son, who was his father's right-hand and the only one who knew his real business, convinces his two brothers, a policeman and a psychiatrist, to complete a major drug deal, which their father was involved in before his death and in which he invested all his money, in order to get their inheritance and maintain their luxurious lifestyle.
