One word to describe this show. Interesting. The characters are interesting. The soundtrack is interesting. Heck, even the voice acting is interesting. When I found out about this show I was hyped! And it did not disappoint! In the first episode we get to know the characters and it gets wackier and wackier. And if you like to watch roller coaster-like shows then this one is recommended! Imagine this as this year's Minions. They're both wacky yet enjoyable. Also, Weird Al!! I love Weird Al and when I found out he voices Milo himself, I knew I'd be in for a treat. And believe me, this show is like Gravity Falls came back. So yeah! This is an excellent show that is 100% recommended for Phineas and Ferb fans!

Hell, in my opinion, this is BETTER than Phineas and Ferb. Even though I still love Phineas And Ferb, Milo Murphy's Law is a far superior show with more jokes, interesting plots, a few clichés that aren't that bad to be honest, and TONS of Phineas And Ferb references and jokes (Not even counting the recent crossover). The story stars Milo Murphy, a descendant from the man whom Murphy's law (the law that states that anything that can go wrong will) is named after, navigating through his normal life and school life as Murphy's law causes pure chaos to happen around him and everyone around him. His two friends, Melissa and Zack, also have to navigate through the utter chaos that happens around Milo whilst simultaneously hanging out with him and looking out for him. Each character in the show is full of life and personality and general likability. I love Milo's care-free and can-do attitude whilst everything goes wrong behind him. He seems to have something to help stop the calamity that happens at all times so he doesn't show much concern when something awful happens. He sees everything as a fun adventure and that's why he's the only main character I've liked more than the others in any form of media for a LONG time. Zack is slightly cowardly but likes hanging around Milo, and Melissa is very supportive of Milo and Zack and also has her share of funny lines. Not only does the show reference and sometimes even make fun of Phineas And Ferb but it's also set in the same universe, allowing the recent Phineas And Ferb crossover to actually be a logical thing to happen unlike most crossovers. The shows jokes come from either clever word play, cutaway jokes that Family Guy WISHES it could have, making fun of Phineas And Ferb, ridiculous misunderstandings, slapstick (which isn't used as much as the shows predecessor), and the constant foiling of the plans set up by these two guys who own a Pistachio selling business, who basically act as butt monkey characters who never really are actually hurt but rather just have their missions ruined, so they aren't really sent through a living hell but rather a slight misfortune which is something that Spongebob should take note of. Overall, really good show. It takes Murphy's law and turns it into an entertaining cartoon that has sort of put Disney XD back on the map after Gravity Falls and Wander Over Yonder ended (not counting how Star vs. the Forces Of Evil has turned from a good show into an amazing one in the span of 2 years). The characters are likable, the jokes constantly punch, and it's just in general a very enjoyable show. Hope it goes just as long, if not longer than Phineas And Ferb, and since they can do anything with the Murphy's law concept, that means it won't get as stale as Phineas And Ferb after 4 seasons. Rock on Dan and Jeff!

The only reason I watched "Milo Murphy's Law" is because of a YouTube channel called 2nd Dimension (formerly Phineas Flynn's Law). He mentioned that this is set in the world of my favorite show when I was a kid: "Phineas and Ferb." I also found out that there's a crossover episode. Since it gives more P&F content, I decided to watch with it caution: I had to expect that it may or may not be as good as P&F because it wasn't renewed for season 3. For better understanding of the story, I watched the show based on their production order just like what I did with P&F
SEASON 1: (8.45)
AN ADVENTURE WITH PERFECT HIGHLIGHTS YET TOO MUCH "OKAY" PARTS
First half of season one:
It's.....pretty good. I love that there are some story arcs in this show. While not great enough to get me excited, these arcs still manage to tell a fun story. Also, as a huge Phineas and Ferb fan, I appreciate the easter eggs, callbacks and voice actors lending their voices in the show (Vincent, Alyson, Olivia, Dan). These references just make me smile. However, the episodes themselves and the jokes can be hit or miss. Some were really good while most were okay. Good thing the characters are really likeable.
Second half:
The second half of the season really kicks of with episodes like "Missing Milo" and "Fungus Among Us." Sadly, the highlights are not enough to save the episodes that were mostly okay and not very funny. I am not a huge fan of the guy with the stop sign. He isn't funny yet he got an episode focused on him. Also, I am not a fan of Diogee. I like him but I do not think he is funny.
BEST EPISODES:
"Murphy's Lard" - I appreciate the "Phineas and Ferb" pilot episode reference. Also, this episode's really funny
"Secrets and Pies" - Chop Away at My Heart is a great song. Also, I love it when we learn something new with these characters. Now I finally get what that "Candace Against the Universe" reference is.
"Missiong Milo"- WOW! What a fun, funny and action and science fiction-packed episode. I am now more excited to watch this show! This really proves, along with all of the Phineas and Ferb specials, that Dan, Swampy and their staff can do and tell terrific, fun and amazing stories if they're given more time.
"Fungus Among Us" - As a Milo Murphy's Law viewer, this is my second favorite episode so far. It is very creative with its story and I just fun. I kinda wish we had more Melissa and Zack this episode. Also, Dakota and Cavendish are both hilarious!. As a P&F fan, I feel mixed about the contradicting details the episode gives regarding the P&F timeline.
WORST EPISODES:
"Love Toboggan" - It has a date subplot that is not funny! I love to the song, though.
SEASON 2: (7.95)
A FUN BUT DISAPPOINTING SEASON
First half:
As this is the main reason why I started to watch the show, I'll start with the crossover episode:
I wanted to love "The Phineas and Ferb Effect." I love Phineas and Ferb and I've enjoyed most of Milo Murphy's Law, but I can't help but feel that the Phineas and Ferb characters are the ones that brought this crossover down. It's still good but not great like "Missing Milo"
First, the good stuff: Cavendish and Dakota's scene in the island is touching. It just shows the love and friendship these two have. Next, the "Melissa-Zack" couple joke. I now ship them but I am still okay if they don't end up together. Third, I am a Phinabella shipper and any time Phineas worries about / shows love and care for Isabella (or vice versa) is just a win for me even if it's just for 1 second of a 45 minute special episode. Fourth, Doofenshmirtz. No explanation necessary. Lastly, the introduction of the Phineas and Ferb characters (especially Buford and Baljeet when they sing Zack's song)
Now for the things that really disappointed me: First is Candace. She is very out of character here. I know that this takes place after the finale of P&F, but I just don't think that the Candace in the finale would be this....calm. Also, her "arc," which pretty much lasted for one scene, was rushed. Next, the lack of Isabella. She's my favorite female character from P&F (only third to Doofenshmirtz and Phineas) and it makes me sad that she only has two lines this episode. Third, the show became P&F's shadow. What I mean here is that there isn't enough MML elements and this episode feels like "a not great P&F special that's slightly better than The OWCA files". Fourth, the stakes were high but I don't feel the danger. Fifth, the action scenes were meh except for the third act. Sixth, it feels like this should have and could have been a Disney Channel Original Movie like "Across the 2nd Dimension." Some elements just feel rushed (like Candace's story, the plot, action) and cut for time (Isabella might have had a separate storyline, Zack and Melissa might have had more screentime that focuses more on them and not with the P&F gang). Lastly and most importantly, except for the introduction of P&F characters, I don't think the episode was fun. It has a "here is Phineas and Ferb after 4 years off air" vibe. The unfortunate thing is that I started watching this show after seeing/rewatching all of the Phineas and Ferb episodes.
As for the rest of the first half of the season, I felt the fun the crossover was missing. Episodes focused more on the characters surrounding Milo and I loved them, especially Cavendish and Dakota. There are still some problems (Diogee) as well as a couple of forced/shoehorned characters (Perry and Monogram)
Second half
The second half of the season is pretty much on par with the first half. Some episodes were pretty good, some are okay. Also, I officially prefer the first season's and the crossover's villains over the aliens. It's sad to know that this might be the final season. I enjoyed the show and I think that it wasn't given enough time to shine.
BEST EPISODES
"Doof's Day Out" - It's a Doffenshmirtz-centered episode. What could be better?
"Managing Murphy's Law" - A terrific and fun episode even though I am not on the Milo-Amanda ship yet (But I am shipping Melissa-Zack)
"Field of Screams" & "Spy Little Sister!" - I love that these episodes were paired with each other. Both are fun episodes that focus more on Milo's friends. Also, I caught Amanda's line "He's mine. He's mine." but I am still not on board with that shipping mainly because I don't know much about Amanda.
"Sphere and Loathing in Outer Space" - a wild adventure that could've been better if it was 45 minutes long. I love the action, the touching friend moments between Perry and Doof and Cavendish and Dakota as well as the developing relationship between Melissa and Zack. Also, I love Cavenpuss.
WORST EPISODES
"Agee Ientee Diogee" - Doofenshmirtz is funny, but I am not a fan of Diogee. The episode showed a small role from my least liked Phineas and Ferb character, Major Monogram. The episode also makes me think that they just want to make this show more like Phineas and Ferb and less like Milo Murphy's Law. Sadly, the show loses its identify and the attempt itself is not quite successful.
"Cavendish Unleashed" - Terrific cliffhanger aside, the episode had too much of the joke that I disliked in "Candace Against the Universe." It's where characters say some things, an obvious joke is coming and we wait for it, then the comes or doesn't come, lastly, repeat.

Once again the team of Povenmire and Marsh have created a fun and lighthearted world for us to enjoy. As they did with Phineas and Ferb, they incorporate original songs that would be right at home in any Broadway production. The group of actors that they brought together to voice the characters is amazing. We would highly recommend watching Milo. This is definitely one of our new favourite shows.

After we lost Wander over Yonder and Gravity Falls, Star vs. the Forces of Evil was the only thing keeping me coming back to Disney XD. I'm happy to say that Milo Murphy's Law gave me the constant smile of Wander Over Yonder while simultaneously giving me the childlike thrill of something on the lines of Phineas and Ferb. I think Weird Al is an excellent addition to an "easy on the ears" voice cast and he suits the role fittingly. The plot gives some excellent storytelling potential. Of course, it's not even needed when the entire concept of Murphy's Law could be used for fun. I love how absolutely careless Milo is on his adventures. It really shows how he's grown to his chaotic lifestyle. I'm definitely looking forward to the direction this show takes! This is the kind of animation we need to keep pushing out to the young and old alike.

This show is very fast paced and enjoyable. The main characters are upbeat and optimistic (a rarity these days) despite everything going wrong. This show has delayed me watching through the mandalorian because I enjoyed it so much. The format is usually 2 10-min segments per episode, just like with phineas and ferb, but sometimes going as long as a 45 minute episode (season 2 premiere). If you like comedy and calamity try the first 10 minute half episode for yourself

This show feels like a great show. The show has great characters, great voice actors, and likable, for the most part, characters. It's also great to see one of Dan & Swampy's cartoons set during the school year as opposed to being set completely during the Summer.
The characters in this show aren't positive to the point where they make you want to puke like in this last show nor to where they seem like the lack awareness, which was a big problem with Phineas & Ferb.
There's still that Dan & Swampy humor in this show. Hopefully, it's changed up a bit, so it doesn't become stale nor bland like it did in Phineas & Ferb. Don't get me wrong; Phineas & Ferb was great; it just went on too long.
I'd suggest checking this show out!

I have to say, I did not expect to enjoy this show THIS much. After rewatching Phineas & Ferb, I had no idea what cartoon could be as enjoyable to get into. That's when I heard of Milo Murphy's Law. I had no idea that the series existed. I had no idea that the characters are fantastic. I had no idea that actual important plot points from Phineas & Ferb were being continued in this.
Admittedly, I had little idea what was going on in the first couple of episodes. Especially with the pistachio people. I thought they would be some weird comic relief serving characters who'd appear in each episode to protect some nuts. Oh, how wrong I was! I was blown away by their overlapping story arc and the chemistry between those two characters became more and more fantastic.
And then there's Milo Murphy himself. I know of one rule to create the perfect character: have bad luck put them in trouble, and have them use their own wit to get out of it. A perfect example of a character that does the exact opposite is Jar Jar Binks: he gets in trouble because of his own stupidity, but gets out by pure luck. And what a coincidence it is that Jar Jar Binks is the most hated character of all time! But I don't like making too many comparisons, which is why I'll just say this: Milo is a great, optimistic boy who is a lot of fun to watch. And so are the incredibly daring, yet human side characters.
And of course, then there's season two, which had me completely hooked. It's not a secret that Doofenshmirtz is my favorite character from Phineas & Ferb, but I didn't expect he would STILL be as enjoyable to watch in a different series. I mean, he has perfect chemistry with almost every character. Milo's sister even has a more interesting sibling-rivalry with Doofenshmirtz, a random old guy who just showed up one day, than with her actual brother! It's crazy how Dr. D after all this time, all his SCREEN time, still manages to be so much fun to watch.
I really hope this show will continue on Disney+. I don't think it's really a kid's show, though. I'm in my twenties and I enjoyed Phineas & Ferb more at my age now than I did when I was twelve, and Milo Murphy's Law seems to be even more mature, for the most part. I know there's a Phineas & Ferb movie coming out soon as well, but honestly? I'd rather have a next season of this gem.
(That doesn't mean I'm not excited about the movie, though. Keep up the good work!)

Phineas & Ferb > Milo Murphy's Law
However, with P&F off-air, this is suitable replacement. The feel isn't exactly the same as P&F, but the plots, humor, and some other elements are still here.
Milo Murphy's Law can stand alone on its own merit, but the magic doesn't seem to last as long as it did in P&F.

While Phineas and Ferb was about positive things everywhere and running the same formula every episode, Milo Murphy's Law is different! It's about slice of life, how the life throws eggs at you. Murphy's Law is an adventure, and that's the "deep" lesson the show gave to you. Milo Murphy's Law not only has well-done episode, free-plot instead of a similar plot like P&F, simple but humorous story, has its own story plot on the 1st season, but the characters here are also well-building. I even find myself in the show. 'Bad things' may happen, but you'll just stay positive! There are not enough of kind words to describe the show. I rate this 10/10 and encourage people to give this show a chance, to prove itself more in the future!

This show is from the same creators as Phineas and Ferb and although that show was not perfect it was still a good show! Milo Murphy's Law however is very bad. The show is about Milo Murphy and his friends melissa and zach as they go through out their day. This show is way to similar to phineas and ferb as well as the characters being very annoying especially melissa. There are a few funny episodes but this was a very disappointing show for disney.

Milo Murphy is just like Jose Rizal because they have both optimism that both seeking for what's coming out in the future. They have both worst enemies and best friends too, at least they have more friends than enemies. Their career wants to be a ophthalmologist, the branch of medicine that deals with the anatomy, physiology and diseases of the eyeball and orbit. They are both youngest member in the family. They have both differences, this differences are Milo Murphy owns a accordion (his talent) and Jose Jose Rizal's talents are drawing, painting and writing poems. Milo Murphy has only one sister but no brother while Jose Rizal has many sisters but one brother. Milo Murphy has only a few quotes while Jose Rizal has many quotes

Disney does it again! Milo Murphy's law is an all new animated series created by the same people who made Phineas and Ferb. Its about a 13 year old boy named Milo who has the Murphy's law, in other words, hes a jinx. anything that goes wrong, will go wrong. if he touches something, it explodes, if he trips, somethings crashes, you get the point. he hangs out with two kids who are his classmates, and have to cope with his jinx. the funny thing about this show is that he jinxes actually save the day, whenever there's trouble.
Okay, so what do i like about this show? honestly, everything. from the characters, to the stories, to the jokes, it can really make you laugh. Milo Murphy's law strongly reminds of the Disney shows i grew up in the early 2000s, like recess, Kim possible, the weekenders. its bring a nostalgic feeling if you grew up with these shows. and that's what makes it so good. Im gonna give milo murphy's law a 10/10, its worth the watch for any fan of cartoons.

A funny bizarre show featuring the voice and sometimes music and Weird Al. Milo, the main character is a likeable character who is great at solving the bizarre problems that face him and his friends. It's funny while being good for the whole family

As "Milo Murphy's Law" was coming from the creators of "Phineas & Ferb" I had high expectations for the show, and it easily met them. Similar to "Phineas & Ferb" it revolves around a gimmicky concept (in this case Milo's bad luck) but does not allowed itself to be constrained by it.
The show is just as well written as "Phineas" and quite funny with great callbacks and deadpan humor. The animation and voice acting are both very good and it never lets itself drag -- the A-plots are quick paced and interesting and are well complimented by a fun B-plot revolving around bumbling time traveling pistachio "protectors".
The only real issues with the show are that the song scenes so far are not as good as "Phineas & Ferb" (which is not a huge issue as they are far more infrequent), and that every once in a while the delivery on certain punchlines is really awkward.
Overall the show it has a lot of potential and is a great addition to DisneyXD's cartoon lineup, which was already gaining momentum from "Star vs The Forces of Evil's" cult following.

If you love Phineas and Ferb your are also going to love this....one of the best cartoons ever

This shows humor just doesnt get to me. I geuss it is not trying to be all in your face similar to we bare bears but seriously it is overrated as hell. Sometimes it can be corny as hell for no good reason. For example. In this one episode were milo and his friends where at a school dance. This one girl who was incharge of the dance, stuff was messed up (not even a lot)cthen she became sad and then this corny song , I am guessing called "just a little TLC" started playing as milo put everything back to order. That was so cringey and cliche. Plus it sometimes has a subplot going around, about these two "time travelling secret agents". This was trying to clearly copy the thunder of phineas and ferbs sub plots of agent P and Dr Doofenshmirtz but accept thid time ,these guys aint interesting or funny. Seriously i just dont understand the appeal of this show. I guess the only good things about it are milos personality and voice.

Ok, this cartoon is really funny and smart!!!! The comedy timing is pitch perfect and almost has this slapstick comedy style!!! When I saw the very first episode when I was 11 or 12, I laughed a LOT!!!!! Even today, (I'm 14 now) the jokes still feel like a breath of fresh air!!!!
The basic plot of the show is that Milo, a middle school kid constantly is followed by Murphy's Law. This is the statement that whatever can go wrong, WILL go wrong. It's a simple premise, but DAMN, Disney XD makes it interesting. He goes through so many funny, clever settings.
This cartoon appeals to both kids and adults in that special Disney XD way!!!!!
Overall, Milo Murphy's Law is a fast paced, funny, and interesting cartoon. I really recommend this show just for a good quick laugh

Awesome to have Weird Al doing the voice work, and theme song. Why doesn't he do more voiceover work. Perfect hit for the show.
Fans of Phineas and Ferb, Gravity Falls, Kim Possible or even older shows Duck Tales will Milo Murphy's Law, especially if you're looking for something new and fresh since those are (mostly except for occasional specials) long canceled unfortunately.
So much better than pretty much everything else Disney is putting out on TV in the animated teen action adventure genre.
There isn't much else to say here. Favorite it and binge watch it over and over; especially if you have Disney+ streaming.

Honestly, the very concept of the show is great. The whole Murphy's law thing is creative as all hell! The characters are likeable, the show itself is pretty comical and Dyogi (did I spell it right?) Is absolutely adorable I so want a Dyogi plush. I also love how casual Milo is about everything. I remember I saw someone say that one of their main problems with the show was that Milo never really snapped or anything like Phineas did in Phineas and Ferb. Speaking of Phineas and Ferb, there are so many references, I swear, someone made a compilation of all of them and it was like an hour, and there was also a Phineas and Ferb crossover, the Phineas and Ferb effect.

Following up a classic like Phineas and Ferb is a difficult task, but Povenmire, Marsh and everyone else involved are putting just as much heart into this show as its predecessor. Milo is such a likable, optimistic, wholesome protagonist, and a good role model for kids. The friends are always kind and supportive to each other, even if they tease one another at times. No spoilers, but I absolutely love Professor Time's arch throughout the second season. Overall, this show is a great watch for the whole family. Please watch this show, it is available on Disney+, it needs the ratings if it's going to continue.
