In the film, Luke's character doesn't like pigs at the beginning but in real life, Luke had a pot-bellied pig as a pet.

Goofs
Love in Paradise takes place near Big Sky, Montana, which puts it in either Gallatin or Madison County. The license plates on the Ford pickup have plates that begin with the number "00" and the Chevy pickup's plates begin with "01" On Montana plates the first digits equate to the county and are a one or two digit number that does NOT begin with a zero. A Gallatin county plate would begin with "6" (with no leading zero) and the first two digits on a Madison county plate would be "25". There is no "01". Silverbow county, with Butte as the county seat, has the number "1," again with no leading zero.

Fun hit tip to Perry's previous Westerns for Hallmark

Luke Perry made 3 "Goodnight for Justice" Westerns for Hallmark. Three years later, "Love in Paradise" was released. This is a really fun nod to the Goodnight films, especially the way it makes fun of the Beverly Hills 90210 lifestyle and Western movies.
