Rehashed pop culture cliches galore
NinjaXCV3 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Yes, there are spoilers, but its hard to spoil something this bad. There are so many stolen jokes from pop culture movies that I cant even begin to list them all. Not borrowed, straight stolen. Done exactly like the movie it was taken from. Not like a whimsical humorous homages, an exact re-inactment for absolutely no reason.

Two guys in an elevator nodding their heads to the side with the music in sync with each other. A guy who looks like Snake Pliskin from shows up calling himself Kobra. And it does nothing to further the weak plot or even make you laugh at the same old tired jokes. It falls short on every level of horror/comedy. The only redeeming value is the decent SFX, which is the only reason I gave it 3 stars.

Almost remake
BandSAboutMovies9 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The American sequel/remake of Plaga Zombie not only has the blessing Pablo Parés and Hernán Sáez, but they helped Garry Medeiros (who co-wroe the script with Cheryl LePan and Walter Rivero) to direct the movie. Instead of Bill Johnson, John West and Max Giggs, the American heroes are Nash Walker (Corey Spencer), Sam Samson (Matthew Hill), and Manny Distefano (Ben Tolosa) along with a mercenary named Kobra Guevara (Walter Rivero). But seeing as how Sam worships the wrestling of John West, there's a good chance he'll show up.

Twnety years after the events of the original trilogy, aliens rppear in New England where they introduce a new virus in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The government follows the same plans as Argentina, as they detach the city from the U. S. and send it floating into the ocean.

If you've seen the original films, there isn't much here that will surprise you. That said, it has a total rainbow wave of zombies in color, shape, size and blood hue. It's also unafraid to have shocking levels of gore, which makes me happy, because I was worried that it would back off a bit. Nope.

Writer and director Garry Mederios discovered the Plaga Zombie series after watching the Fangoria released DVD. He loved the movies so much that he contacted the filmmakers via e-mail and they became friends. He jokingly suggested making an American-based Plaga Zombie film and FARSA, who made the originals, loved the idea.

I'm here for another if they decide to make it.

Fun, fast paced Sci-Fi Horror

We had the privilege of attending an early screening of Plaga Zombie: American Invasion, and walked away with a grin from ear to ear.

This film knows what it is and more importantly, what it isn't. It goes for the fun and the comedy and nails the slapstick tone with absolutely no apologies.

If you enjoy a heavy dose of laughs with your blood and tits, do not pass this up.

Awesome Zombie movie

Awesome Zombie, if you're into zombies or low budget movies this will be for you!! It has comedy, has zombies, has the gore! Definitely a must watch fun film. If you want something new this is it. I really enjoy that they go a different route than your typical zombie movies, pretty fun special effects. The cast and crew are really fun and awesome people. Looking forward to seeing more to this franchise. Can't wait to see a sequel or even a prequel really fun. Watched this a few times and every time it gets funnier. I definitely recommend this, a must watch for all zombie lovers, can't go wrong with people who know zombie movies.

Not your average zombie flick!
Rich_Gordon5 July 2023
"Plaga Zombie: American Invasion" pits a seemingly unprepared motley crew of survivors against a hoard of bloodthirsty alien zombies. Seems almost like something you've seen before. But, you'd probably be wrong! This film is totally crazy, insane, cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs, off-the-wall, smash 'em up, over-the-top, nutso, mind-blowing, and all-around totally loco fun! This is absolutely, positively, most definitely not your average zombie flick! BTW, If we ever have a real invasion of alien zombies, I want Kobra on my side of the fight! He is totally badass!!! Treat yourself and watch this film today!

I found out about this 4th installment of this Argentinian trilogy Plaga Zombie. For a low budget movie I must say I was very impressed, the action was great it was funny as well .. I love the fact that the zombies are completely different from the norm... The characters were very original and I thought the homages were fantastic!! I recommend this movie VFX was also great for a low budget....
