My app refreshed and I lost the review I was writing.

Not rewriting it. This episode was bad. Claire bad. Gloria slightly annoying. Jay storyline not funny. Actor playing Joe sucks. Luke isn't as good as when he was younger

    The Verdict - S07E05

A fun throwaway episode, there's a nice disperse for the characters with Burrell's Phil interacting with both Luke and Manny, while Bowen's Claire spends her time with Haley and Alex and the playful time spent with Vegara's Gloria and Cam and Mitch in amongst the running theme of the people in charge for the day feeling the need to prove themselves to their family. The best interaction is in O'Neill's Jay quietly combatting with Vicki Lewis' Erica, the dynamic of the two working well as Jay is taken well outside of his comfort zone. While by no means a standout episode, "The Verdict" is a successful time spent with the characters, each of which are paired up with people they don't often have stories centred around.

    The Verdict

Another very nice episode of the show, where all the various plots hold up well.

I thought each had some nice moments, and Julie Bowen and Ed O'Neil especially seemed to shine.

    Enjoyable enough.

When Gloria is being questioned for jury duty, her badge is fastened to her top with the name and other information showing. The camera cuts away to show the defendant, and when it cuts back to Gloria, the badge is pinned on backwards, with a completely white space showing. The camera cuts away and back again, and the badge is back on properly, with information showing.
