Hoff the Record

The show is so brilliant. Dry humor meets absurd one-liners... This very much reminds me of "The IT crowd" and a little bit of "Sienfeld". Shows about nothing truly are the best comedies.

The writing in this series is just brilliant... superb characters, brilliant dialogue, genius one liners... and the plots, omg 😂

And The Hoff! Who knew he could do such a brilliant job with deadpan comedy???

I keep telling all my friends to watch this... they never do... you should! 👍🏼😁

It is so funny. Written as a "serious" documentary of Hoff's struggles in England to try and resurrect his flailing career. There are so many jokes in it and situational laughs. It is a very British (European) sense of humour which is why it is getting some lower ratings on IMDB. All the episodes are brilliant but I have several favourites that are so crazy that it makes me laugh until I am out of breath, the writing is amazing!

I'm surprised that this show doesn't have a higher rating at this time than 6.9! It's definitely a bit goofy, but not slapstick. The ridiculous situations that Hoff gets into, like auditioning to be in a movie about himself cracked me up. Hoff's driver is definitely weird, but if you've seen him in other shows like People Just Do Nothing, you'll look forward to all the crazy stuff he says. I've enjoyed it more the second time around, since I knew the odd stuff that was coming my way. I recommend giving this show a watch, and hopefully they'll make more than two seasons!

I couldn't last 5 minutes. Just rude, crude and not funny. I wish it was better. I was looking forward to some Hoff humor.
