A reality show pitting people against each other in feats of strength, often allowing wrestling the opponent to win. This combat stance is one I've yet to see on a show like this. I like it. I saw a guy get thrown to the ground and he landed wrong on his arm causing his elbow to bend the wrong way. I've only seen a few episodes but so far they've had different challenges on each one.
Here in the UK,we get lots of trashy American TV shows and upon seeing that Steve Austin was hosting,i assumed it would be a comedy as WWF/American wrestling over here is a joke/novelty......watching all those male/female contestants take on the Skull Buster is a joy.considering some of the egos that grace the BS ranch, its a wonder anything else can squeeze in....when someone wins without being a muscle/meat head and is humble, its a pleasure to watch, its also a pleasure to watch the others get the thumbs down-despite their arrogance.

It's reality TV without the BS. No sad sob story. No videos of the families and all that nonsense. For half an hour, some self-declared tough guys (women included) go head to head to decide which one among them is the strongest, the fastest, the craziest... Winner get 10,000 dollars and then some.
It's fun. The people are from a wide selection - police, army, navy, marines... cross-fitters, gym owners, fitness trainers, MMA fighters, wrestlers, footballers, housewives and accountants, and some other jacked up peeps - and they all give it there all, for pride and money.
And then there's Steve Austin hosting it all in his gloriously redneck way on his ranch with broken skulls lying around for decoration. This is at least 50% of the fun.

Love the show. Have not missed an episode. Steve left season 5 with a hint of what 6 might bring. Well, here it is the end of August and I'm still anxiously waiting for a new episode. Absolutely love, love, Hunter's confidence. Think he'll be reigning champion for a long, long time (at least if Steve can keep the show active). Too bad there's not a second place prize. I like Steve, but as a christian, I wish he'd clean up his language just a little. I watch some of the other competitions which use fancy equipment, bright lights, audiences, fancy interviews, etc. Steve's show is just down and dirty hard work. So keep his show on!!
