Cabin in the woods
I have to admit, when the movie started and the way the father and the son "got together", I thought this wouldn't really be any good. But the movie won me over. After some initial crazy things and really weird decisions it really started to connect. It's almost like the story of the movie itself, happening to the viewer while watching it. A weird experience indeed.
Keep in mind though, that the movie is slow moving. This is not something that is action packed (I watched the trailer after I saw the movie, it might suggest more action in it, just saying), but rather takes it time and has a few pieces of action set pieces.
