A Fox, a Rabbit, and a Cabbage

And well, it did wonderfully.

We are given an intro to what might have brought our characters to Vegas and then it starts, in an elevator, what Fargo, as a film or TV show, is famous for. This specific scene will cause your jaw to drop and it will hit the ground at the climax. That is the kind of narration this ninth episode has.

The investigation has had a breakthrough and Malvo is again mad at something. Lester's character development is amazing and now he is more than the person he was in episode 1. I simply loved the 50 minutes of suspense. Still, there is one discrepancy about the Vegas elevator scene (having no surveillance cameras) which seems fabricated. Given that the incident occurs in 2007, it was hard to digest.

BOTTOM LINE: FARGO is turning out to be more gorier and even more fabulous as 2014's best crime-drama series.

Illogical actions by the characters, first Lester in the bar confronting malvo, and After the " walk away" , to Come back is illogical even for the new lester, hé knows this Guy is very very dangerous and asked for trouble just because the plot need it.

Second illogical action is malvo killing lester ( in fact his wife) without even talking to him without seeing the fear on his face. When we know since the Pilot that malvo love to play with his victims, he even talk about it in this very episode, in the elevator hé goes " the look on his face when i put the gun out, Classic ! " Illogical actions ruins a bi this episode, could have been a 9.5, in the end its a 8/10.

Lester has an unexpected encounter, Malvo changes course, and a new investigation leads Molly down a familiar path.

What I Liked:

The cinematography is solid, and each scene perfectly implements its beautiful and mesmerizing music score. On top of that, each actor gives a strong performance, with Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman being the clear standouts.

Malvo is one of the most intriguing individuals you will see on television, with Thornton's portrayal being nothing short of superb, along with Freeman's portrayal of Lester.

Lester's transformation sees him become arguably the most interesting character on this show, even more so than Malvo. His actions in this penultimate episode see him reach the point of no return, causing multiple deaths and even sending his wife to her death.

What I Disliked:

It was odd that Lou didn't think to inform Molly about the man who had just been inquiring about Lester, the man she had been investigating for the past year. He knows that she has had her sights on him for a long time, so it made no sense that he wouldn't at least mention it to her.

Overall:

Fargo delivers a fantastic, near-perfect penultimate episode. With only one episode to go, one can only surmise how this tautly written and enthralling season will conclude.

King Cadmium.

Lester loves nothing but in his deluded view of his potential and gets himself and those around him in danger or worse. Lorne only cares for the madness and violence. These two fit each other perfect.

Wow !!!

Can't believe how amazing this episode was . It had everything you want one minute your laughing away the next your on the edge of your seat with the tense drawn out scenes .

The series is probably the best acting I've seen from Billy Bob Thornton. The way he could change the personas and mood of his character was dinky unbelievable.
