Herbert West: Reanimator is an upcoming 2018 American science fiction horror film produced and directed by Serge Levin (Superstrata; Alterscape) from a screenplay co-written with Jon Keeyes (The Harrowing; Nightmare Box; Fall Down Dead), based on H.P. Lovecraft's short story, which is now in public domain. It was announced in 2018 that it will star Brad Dourif; (Chucky movies; The Control Group; Spontaneous Combustion; et al), Lin Shaye (Insidious movies; Abattoir; The Black Room; et al) and Serge Levin. The Isle Empire Pictures film is in pre-production and the remaining cast has yet to be announced.
