Tom Cruise, Sarah Wright, and Alejandro Edda in American Made (2017)

Crazy credits

American Made

Edit

At the very end of the credits, tucked among the copyright disclaimers is the sentence, "And yes, we know that's not El Salvador." This is a reference to a joke in the film about mistaking El Salvador for Nicaragua on the map. In fact, the country on the map was neither El Salvador nor Nicaragua, it was Honduras.

The 2013 Universal Studios logo rewinds into the older 1963-1990 logo and the 1996 Imagine Entertainment logo rewinds into the 1988-1996 logo at the beginning. Since Cross Creek Pictures was founded in 2009, their logo rewinds into a different train with the company name written on it and a grain effect with the normal logo displayed in a retro 1970s style.

The end of the credits has a dedication "For Arthur". This is to Arthur Liman, the father of the director, Doug Liman.

Sarah Wright is credited as Sarah Wright Olsen in the main credits, but as Sarah Wright in the cast list during the credit scroll.
