But I have to say I do have a soft spot for Klaus (as I had watched half of The Originals first😅)

Stefan wakes up naked with Rebekah. He looks around with regret and he moves fast so his top is flown on him. He takes his bottoms and prepares to head out until he meets Klaus at the door. Rebekah gets up and tells her brother to leave by the time she gets out of the shower.
Stefan takes Rebekah to the cancelled dance where they let loose and have fun while Stefan secretly checks his texts. Matt is looking around Rebekah's place. He looked through her underwear drawer, rifling through her things. Can't find it.
Elena has called Kol through Jeremy's cell. She tells him she wants to have a truce. Kol goes right to the Gilberts' door. Elena is taken aback and they have no choice but to open the door and invite him in with the promise he doesn't hurt Jeremy. Jeremy slips out to get to Bonnie's because she can't be reached. Bonnie's parents have a "meeting" with her - they don't want her going out. She needs her powers controlled. Bonnie is powerful enough to become conscious after the herbs her mom put under her nose knocked her out. Kol is about to chop Jeremy's arms off when Elena comes and attacks Kol. They manage to stab Kol to death and he burns up into flames. Klaus watches the whole thing while the door is opened.
Bonnie comes and traps Klaus with a spell in the living room. They have 3-4 days to find the cure.
