Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds: Blue Moon Rising

After the whole controversy surroudning Oasis ending and Gallagher brothers fights all over the news I turned my head and hardly listened to anything outside of their collaborative work. I got here due to my curiosity in seeing actors appearing on a music video, case in question being the great Jack O'Connell ("Skins", "Unbroken"). While storywise it's a little confusing and pretty common place with its setting, I was involved not only with that but also with Noel Gallagher's song. It sounded unlike anything of his, very different and it showed that he still has plenty of heart and soul to give.

And he's also a masterful actor in this piece, where he plays a sort of mob boss who runs a club where O'Connell attends it and drunkly dances with a beautiful woman (Gala Gordon), who falls for his charm. Obviously that he gets more and more confident by the minute, drinking, dancing and seducing her but it all comes with some twist and a mystery man observing them.

So here's a quite memorable music video that gets a great catchy song to boot. Well done. 9/10.
