Disney CEO Bob Iger green-lit a television series based on S.H.I.E.L.D. at ABC after watching Item 47. Titus Welliver, who played Blake in the One-Shot reprised his role as a guest star on the TV Series, titled Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013).

Goofs
The graphics under the end credits misspell the word 'prototype' as 'protoype' in every single instance *except* 'prototype IX'.

Marvel One-Shots Marathon 2019 #5

As the follow up and spin-off of The Avengers, Item 47 helped to solidify the spin-off series, Agents of S. H. I. E. L. D.

I felt outrageous that Lizzy Caplan's talent wasted on a 12 minute short. She would've been a great addition to the mainstream MCU films.
