Indiana Jones is known for his iconic whip, rugged adventures, and encounters with everything from ancient traps to Nazis. In MachineGames’ upcoming game Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, fans of the legendary archaeologist can rest assured that Indy’s relationship with animals, particularly dogs, won’t take a dark turn.

Unlike the brutal treatment of dogs in the studio’s previous Wolfenstein series, The Great Circle takes a gentler approach. Creative Director Jens Andersson shared that the game, set to release in December, takes a family-friendly approach and stays true to Indy’s character as a “dog person.”

Clint Eastwood’s 40th directorial effort is a twisty courtroom drama-slash-thriller that finds a good man in an impossible situation – both in the sense of “How can he get out of this?” and “Well, that’s highly improbable.” Then the movie settles into a taut, understated good time with a strong lead performance … before stumbling confoundingly at the finish line.
“Juror #2” finds magazine journalist Justin (Nicholas Hoult) lovingly helping his wife (Zoey Deutch) through a delicate pregnancy when he’s called for jury duty. To put this in the least spoilery way possible, he shockingly discovers that, through an extremely unlikely set of circumstances, he’s intimately involved in a case that concerns a capital crime, with the defendant’s life in the balance. Coming forward, however, could have dire consequences for his family, so this ordinary guy has to find another answer from within the workings of the trial itself,...

Singer and TV and radio personality Emma Bunton has signed with WME for representation in all areas.
Perhaps best known for her tenure as Baby Spice, Bunton and her fellow Spice Girls dominated pop culture in the ’90s with a string of chart-topping singles and the kind of ubiquity rarely achieved in music. During the two decades in which the girl group has stayed largely dormant, she’s forged a career as a TV and radio host.
Most recently, Bunton has served as host of British radio program Feel Good Weekend on Heart FM. (That gig recently afforded her a viral moment, when she surprised noted Spice Girls enthusiast Blake Lively in studio.)

Amy Adams is on the promotional circuit for her new movie, where she thinks she’s a dog. You read that correctly. Nightbitch is a new comedy that initially gave off the impression that Amy Adams plays a mom who may be turning into a werewolf, but the movie actually doesn’t cross into the supernatural as some may expect. Our own Chris Bumbray says in his review, “While horror fans will be disappointed to learn this isn’t the quasi-Amy Adams werewolf movie we all wanted, Nightbitch is still a nice little flick that would make for a great night out at the theatre for new parents. Just expect a heavy conversation on the drive home.”
Variety profiles Adams for her upcoming film and the actress addresses her past projects. She reflects on her time in the Dceu playing Lois Lane opposite Henry Cavill. While Cavill’s exit...

Even though it seems obvious at this point, sad as that may be, Marvel's long gestating "Blade" reboot has officially lost its release date. The film, which is due to star Oscar-winner Mahershala Ali was previously set to hit theaters on November 7, 2025. That's no longer happening, leaving the project on uncertain ground. There is some good news, however, as Disney has opted to give that release date to something both deserving and exciting.
Disney has now officially given "Prey" director Dan Trachtenberg's new "Predator" movie "Predator: Badlands" the November release date previously reserved for "Blade." That means this one will get a theatrical release, unlike "Prey," which was dumped directly to Hulu in 2022. That release strategy has long been viewed as a mistake by Disney as the film was met with rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. It presumably would have done big business at the box office,...

Salem's Lot is widely regarded as one of Stephen King's best - and perhaps more importantly, most terrifying - novels, which is why the new adaptation currently streaming on Max simply didn't cut it for the majority of fans and critics.
The movie follows the basic premise, but does not flesh out the main characters enough and is seriously lacking in scares and gore (pretty much every kill takes place off-screen) despite the R rating. It also leaves out some major story elements, including Ben Mears' childhood connection to the Marsten House.
In the book, this haunted house is almost a character in its own right, and is the source of evil in the town of Jerusalem's Lot that attracts Kurt Barlow and Richard Straker in the first place. Ben is left traumatized after sneaking into the house as a child, and returns to "The Lot" to confront his...

Marvel’s Avengers will forever be remembered as one of history’s most expensive and embarrassing gaming flops. Coming off the heels of the widely successful live-action Avengers films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Square Enix partnered with Marvel Games to bring Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to the video game format.
The project had the advantage of the Marvel brand, a plethora of popular heroes, and more; however, it failed spectacularly. The gaming community had high expectations for this game and thought it would be on the same caliber as Marvel’s Spider-Man from Insomniac Games, but it was the complete opposite.
Three years after launch with a lackluster sales reception, a low player count, and technical drawbacks, the game developers decided to pull the plug.

The long-awaited movie adaptation of Stephen King’s Salem’s Lot from director Gary Dauberman (Annabelle Comes Home) is now available to stream on Max, unleashing a stylish vampire outbreak without much in the way of story. It turns out that there was a much longer cut of the film that Dauberman ultimately trimmed down for a leaner runtime.
The filmmaker revealed in a recent interview with Den of Geek, “My first cut was about three hours. There’s a lot left out. My first draft of the script is 180-odd pages or something because you’re trying to include everything. And a lot of it has to do with a lot of the secondary characters and stuff that I spoke about. So it was sad to see that stuff go, but it’s like a necessary evil.”

David Corenswet was seen this year as the antagonist in Twisters, and while audiences new to him got a sense of his physique as his height allowed him to tower over his co-stars, he would later put on the necessary muscle to become the Man of Steel in James Gunn‘s Dcu film Superman. Variety reports that Corenswet recently appeared on the Manly Things (Sort of) podcast, where he spoke of his Kryptonian transformation.
Corenswet explained, “I wasn’t 238 (pounds) when we started shooting. I was 238 at my max. I didn’t fit into any of my pants.” The new Kal-El actor spoke candidly about getting used to the new weight and he joked about his realization that he had become a 2Xl shirt size when he attended the table read for Superman. He stated, “That was at the peak of my bulk. And then I slowly lost weight before we started shooting.

Gee willikers, Superman! James Gunn continues to drip-feed fans with looks at his upcoming Superman film with a glimpse of Skyler Gisondo as the plucky photojournalist Jimmy Olsen! Jimmy works alongside Clark Kent (David Corenswet), Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan), and Perry White (Wendell Pierce) at the Daily Planet, the famous newspaper based in the fictional city of Metropolis. Gunn posted the photo of Gisondo giving an enthusiastic thumbs-up, with Jimmy’s signature swoop on display and a warm smile.

At Hidden Remote, we always have a recommendation for you at the ready whether you want to cry, solve a murder, or laugh until tears stream down your face. This list is all about the latter. Sometimes, what you're in the mood for is a show that's going to leave you in a good mood or your cheeks hurting from laughing. However, not every series that I'll be recommending is a through and through comedy.
Dramedies have been taking over the genre bit by bit and though there are moments that can be heart-wrenching or that switch on a dime into serious territory, they too will give you the chuckle you need. Also, there's a show that isn't a comedy on here but it's so humorous that it begs to be watched. Here's what you should tune into for a good time!

After airing on Rte in Ireland last September, all six episodes of the darkly comedic crime drama Obituary made their way over to the Hulu streaming service in November. Now, Variety reports that Obituary season 2 has been given the greenlight and, like its predecessor, is expected to consist of six episodes.
Written by Ray Lawlor (Le Ceangal) and directed by John Hayes (Dublin Murders) and Oonagh Kearney (Vardy vs. Rooney), Obituary has the following synopsis: 24-year-old Elvira Clancy is feeling a little unfulfilled, although she adores her new job writing obituaries, but when her newspaper falls on hard times and her boss cuts her salary, she finds herself being paid per obituary overnight. When she “accidentally” kills a nasty piece of work in the town, she discovers she might have a previously untapped bloodlust!
She relishes using ever more crafty methods to kill off the town’s unpleasant residents while making them look like accidents.

If you think about it in broad strokes, the hit British sitcom Derry Girls is strikingly similar to It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, with one obvious difference — Derry Girls won an Emmy.
When the British public broadcasting station Channel 4 premiered Northern Irish playwright and screenwriter Lisa McGee’s personal and punchy coming-of-age sitcom about life in her hometown of Derry during the turbulent mid-1990s, the channel probably didn’t anticipate that Derry Girls would become their biggest comedy series since Father Ted, their last successful sitcom about Ireland in the ‘90s, and their first scripted international sensation to pair with The Great British Bake Off as their American-beloved megahits. Thankfully, the heart, humor and joyful chaos of Derry Girls translated well from Northern Irish to American English, and today, over two years after the series finale, Derry Girls is still one of the most streamed sitcoms on Netflix U.

Amazon Prime Video has cancelled the historical fantasy series “My Lady Jane” after its first season failed to attract enough viewers. The show, which premiered June 27 with all eight episodes released at once, told a revisionist tale of Lady Jane Grey, England’s queen for nine days in 1553.
Based on the young adult novels by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton and Jodi Meadows, “My Lady Jane” blended elements of different genres to retell the traditional historical narrative from a new perspective. It featured humans called Ethians who could transform into animals and placed Lady Jane in a leading role as she sought to control her own destiny.
Despite an ensemble cast led by Emily Bader as Lady Jane Grey and Edward Bluemel as Lord Guildford Dudley, and production from experienced talent like Jamie Babbit and executive producers Gemma Burgess and Meredith Glynn, the show failed to break into Nielsen’s top ten streaming rankings.

Most major blockbusters involve some degree of reshoots, be they one day or even several months, but it sounds like James Gunn isn’t expecting to do any on his upcoming Superman movie.
Production on Superman wrapped up last month, but James Gunn told a fan on Threads that there’s still a lot of work to be done. “Heck no. Once you’re done shooting you’ve only just begun!” Gunn wrote. “Still lots of editing, VFX, sound, and scoring to be done!” When another fan mentioned that reshoots might add a lot of time to the post-production process, Gunn responded, “I don’t know. I’ve done a total of one day of reshoots on my past two films combined.” For the record, Gunn’s last two movies were Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and The Suicide Squad. The Decameron is a medieval black comedy series created by Kathleen Jordan. Based on the 14th-century Italian short-story collection of the same name by author Giovanni Boccaccio, the Netflix series is set in 1348, when the Black Death was destroying Florence. It follows the story of a few nobles who lock themselves away with servants in a countryside villa. In the beginning, everything goes swimmingly but soon something turns their retreat into a fight for survival. The Decameron stars Zosia Mamet, Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Tanya Reynolds, Amar Chadha-Patel, Leila Farzad, Lou Gala, Karan Gill, Tony Hale, Douggie McMeekin, and Jessica Plummer. So, if you love the wild comedy and historic setting in The Decameron, here are some similar shows you could watch next.
