Very well written and voiced! Fantastic cast!

This is a very well written and descriptive it makes me feel like im watching tv. I haven't really listened to shows in this way before, however this was a good start for me. The cast list is unreal, big names you will know when you listen to them. I did have to look them up and this is what brought me here in the first place.

Listening to the first episode makes you want to continue, not because there is a cliff hanger, but because you just want to listen know. I listen to it like it is a follow up the the Joker with Joaquin Phoenix. Im not sure if this is the case however its is that well done it would make sense!

    needs a season 2

Solid story good revision of harley quinn's origins retold but more grounded compared to bruce timm's original from BTAS when bruce timm created her in that show. Christina ricci nialed it the voice the personality and as the story continues going forwarded u can hear how her character changed within those stories she's begin with more unreasonable and psychotic.

This audio version of harley quinn is more faithful and better than all of the live action versions combined. Lol now i cannot unsee christina ricci as herley quinn such perfect casting even Justin Hartley has the perfect bruce wayne and batman voice, but i wasn't feeling Billy Magnussen as joker his voice was too high pitch and just never felt right but outside of that they definitely need a season 2.

    Everything I expected and more

As a person who has never been into (or even tried) audio series or Batman comics who accidentally came upon Sound Mind, I have to say this was quite an incredible experience. The sharp writing, convincing performances, the emotional flow.. everything comes up together with a perfect knot. 9/10

Eli Horowitz and everyone who worked on it made something unforgettable. So I understand ever episode giving the credit they deserve at the end but the little theme music segues felt rather disruptive to me since I HAD to listen to the last few episodes in a binge (Yeah it is that intriguing) This might sound like a little nitpick but it was sooo annoying and completely broke the immersion the last episode built with the incredible sound design.

    Misunderstands its Title Character

In this podcast they attempted a character study of Harley Quinn, but I am left scratching my head feeling that the writers do not know the core of who Harley Quinn actually is. It portrays a stupider and less compelling character. I love these comic book characters more than most and for that reason my enjoyment for this podcast is lacking. It seems that, in the minds of the writers, the only way to make Harley a compelling character was to lower the IQ of all the other characters most notably with the Joker. The thought that male characters have to be dumbed down so the female character can be smart is just - flawed to say the least. Joker and Batman have never been more stupid (even in the hilarious Lego Batman movie.) If Batman and the Joker were as brilliant as they usually are it would make Harley a much better character if she overcame them. What they tried to do simply did not work. It comes off like the studio was trying to quickly capitalize on their female lead without reading the script itself. I wish it was better, but sadly it is what it is.
