    Better than the last episode

Not sure what to rate this yet so I won't right now. Am I supposed to believe that Sarah, after the opening scene can't take these guys out? She's literally Sarah Walker. They can't keep giving those scenes then do that. She would have not let her guard down here. Her handler looks like he's taken one karate lesson and his only strength is hiding behind his weapons. She's always been badass and has never needed saving. Two episodes in a row as well. Kinda out of character. This episode was clear to me. It's Sarah's story. At least to me. You can't deny she's the star of the series. The stand out actor and her story has came full circle. Her backstory and past, not everything of course as you can never know a person fully but now we know what lead to this and the reasons she doesn't have a relationship with her mother.

To be honest I don't know why I thought in the last episode the baby would be hers. Especially as she's stated. Chucks her proper first relationship. Well love at least. Accidental pregnancy wouldn't happen either as she was always on missions and didn't care for getting close to anyone. I saw a tiny bit of a spoiler and thought someone said it was hers. This makes way more sense to Sarah's whole backstory. I liked her mother, besides the good acting, she seems like a good one. And most of the episode was very emotional and very well acted from them. Really engaging and even the flashbacks with her old colleagues were so good. Sarah's flashbacks have always been golden. It was her last mission Before her assignment was Chuck. It all made sense.

I just have a small problem with why her handler was so focused and driven on killing the baby. Obviously he's been looking for years. Sarah got her out and was never intending on her being in that world, or interested in taking the fortune even if she has a legitimate claim to the money and he would know that. Even if she did, it was years ago and I'm sure he's covered his tracks and the money. What he said about what "he's gonna do to that kid" I don't get why. I don't know why he wasn't in jail after that mission and I don't know why Sarah never hunted him down. I feel like it's something she would have done. Since he's the only person that could danger her mother and sister. I liked that this was a serious tone. I wish more were like this. It works better and makes more sense. It just doesn't make sense as to why she'd shoot him intentionally in the shoulder as well instead of just taking him out like she's done so many times before. But I'm obviously reading into it too much. He's just an awful person so it would be what someone like that would do.

The scenes of the whole gang together at the end was heart warming. I love those scenes so much. I felt a lump in my throat throughout and I'd say this is definitely the most emotional episode yet.

Ellie Bartowski: I actually wanted to talk to you about Alex.

Morgan Grimes: I don't think you're gonna understand what I'm going through here.

Ellie Bartowski: I don't know if you know this, but when Devon and I first started dating, we took a break for a while.

Alex McHugh: [At the same time, Alex and Devon are having the same conversation across the room] What happened?

Devon 'Captain Awesome' Woodcomb: As you probably know, I was an A & F model. I got to admit, I let it go to my head.

Ellie Bartowski: [to Morgan] He was a real ass. For our first anniversary, he gave me a signed photograph of himself. He was carrying a canoe in, in nothing but suit pants. And so I just, I broke up with him.

Devon 'Captain Awesome' Woodcomb: [to Alex] I had to win her back. You know, I couldn't lose a woman like that. So I pulled out all the stops. I made a Tracy Chapman mix tape. I got front-row tickets to Les Mis. I even baked those little cupcakes, you know, the kind with the peanut butter inside.

Alex McHugh: Oh yeah, I like those.

Devon 'Captain Awesome' Woodcomb: Yeah, so does she.

Morgan Grimes: [to Ellie] Did it work?

      Ellie Bartowski: Uh, no.

Morgan Grimes: So then what did you do? I mean, why did you take him back?

Ellie Bartowski: I don't think he knows this, but I came home from work one day and he was sitting on my doorstep with a bunch of calla lilies, and he must have been there for hours, because he was on the phone with his mom and he was so sweet with her. He really cared about what she was saying. I just remembered that that was the man I fell in love with.

Devon 'Captain Awesome' Woodcomb: [to Alex] Calla lilies -- works every time.
