I haven't enjoyed an episode like this one since season 2-3. Why couldn't we have had more episodes like this one!! Such a good stand alone episode. I wish there was more fillers like this. It's so well balanced. It had a little of everything. Had scenes with almost everyone. I loved the emotional depth at the end. Personally for me, it's already better than season 4. Even though I disliked the previous 2 episodes. It still way better.
Jeff getting Lester arrested for attempted homicide was so unexpected! The cheese ball scene with Mike made me laugh as well. Don't think I've laughed like that at this show in a while. Then Casey got arrested by Decker for killing The Viper and her men. Which was necessary as they were off to kill everyone on the team and their loved ones. Casey was smart and got there first. My jaw dropped during all of it. That's what you call suspense. They finally did it.
I also thought it was funny that Casey spoiled Star Wars for Morgan. It was deserved after the way he treated his daughter. But then he had a change of heart later on and he invited Morgan to move back in and gave him box set of Indiana Jones. I thought it was such a wholesome moment between them.
Later on Alex and Morgan agree to be friends and put on a happy face and agree to be friends. Everyone in the kitchen, Chuck, Sarah, Casey, Ellie and Devon and of course Alex and Morgan. Having dinner, smiling and having fun. Feeling appreciative. It was nostalgic. I like these kind of moments. I think it's because it's just different than what we've had before and I haven't seen them like this. Sarah making a toast thanking them for being such good friends and for how close they are. Everyone trying to be more open and honest yet have something they aren't completely being honest about but in sort of a caring way.
I also can't wait to see what happens with the Buy More. Why the viper was ordered to kill everyone but Chuck and Sarah and who's been manipulating the team this whole time. I'm actually interested in this show again and can't wait to see how it all ends.
I really enjoyed this episode. It's been forever.

A classic example of why the show has so many die-hard fans (literally... I love Die Hard). The cult references make for hilarity, especially in the hands of a group of characters with such wildly different tastes, knowledge of popular culture. The action scenes are well crafted in this episode, taking their time to climax, with complexity to the investigation by our spies and twists that lead to cliffhangers... Why 10? 1. Jeff's rebirth is a brilliantly refreshing turn for the Buy More side of the plot; the whole dynamic within the store has irrevocably changed for the better. 2. Chuck's facial expressions when in shock, any other situation. 3. Sarah and Casey's continued confusion whenever popular culture is referenced.
Chuck needs to do little more than the status quo to have me bawling and wanting more and as such I may be blind to any weaknesses in the show, but frankly, if you're reading this, so are you.

This episode is tough to review because it's got some great elements but one has to sift through an inordinate amount of nonsensical silt before actually finding the gold. Unfortunately, that's been the rule, rather than the exception, for everything beyond seasons one and two. However...it is what it is. (I found that fast forwarding through the irrelevant and unnecessary sections helps somewhat.)
This episode was so amazing!! So much going one. Loved them trying to figure out who the Viper is. They go to such extremes, but it's well worth the suspense, and the laughs.
What can we say about Casey? Gotta love him! The storyline for him is quite interesting now. Can't wait to see how it ends up!
Morgan, poor thing. There is something wrong with him glad they are figuring it out. I know there is more with that than meets the eye. Hope he gets his love back!! He deserves it
Love Chuck and Sarah, as always! They are amazing together.
This entire show is truly unique! Wouldn't change a thing!

- TriviaThe book that Jeff is reading is "Flowers for Algernon," which is about a mentally disabled man who undergoes treatment to greatly increase his intelligence.
- GoofsWhen the team is reviewing Viper's kill list, the word "Terminated" appears on Morgan under the premise that it is reflecting off of the TV screen. However, as it is a reflection, it should instead be a mirror image of the word.
