The issue I have is that Morgan in 5x01 was drastically different from in episode 2 and this one. I'm just glad that this arc is not going to drag out. At least i hope it's done. Him being so obnoxious didn't feel that far out of character but it happened all of a sudden which I didn't like. The bright side is that it didn't go on for too long. I don't get all the hate on Morgan. For me, he's funny. Still a little egotistical and childish but I like his scenes with Casey. And him going full ninja looks better than when Chuck did it. Seems more realistic. Thankfully he became less annoying at the end of the episode. His personality and actions were awful. The intersect Morgan has is not the same as Chucks one so it makes sense that it messed with his head. Least he didn't go that far but I'm glad it ended. I found that plot annoying. He definitely didn't deserve all the hate from viewers but i get it. People have characters they like and dislike just like me. I'm just indifferent to him and a lot of characters.
I've also come to realise that Zachary Levi's acting isn't to my liking. It's very bland. One dimensional and one expressional. Always the same facial expressions and blank faces. I've never felt emotion from him either. Maybe one time in season 1 but that's it. His eyes are as blank as his face. Plus he's been kinda controversial recently. Not that I'm adding that to his character in the show but this character has never developed and what they try to write him as (his personality) doesn't work. He's never been quirky which is what they've tried to do for so long. At least he's a good traits is that he's a decent friend and has a good heart.

I understand the reason that Morgan inadvertently got the Intersect instead of Chuck, but the silliness of so many episodes, like this one, is just unbearable. As others have stated it seems as if the writers are juveniles because the content is so sophomoric. This is a perfect example. When "Chuck" connects it hits it out of the ball park. But when "Chuck" misses it lands in a black hole. It's gotten old, and exhausting. I thought after the end of Season 4 it had finally found its way. But I was wrong. It's like 1 step forward, and 2 steps back.
Morgan with the Intersect ruined what could have been a good episode. I cannot wait for this story arc to be over with.
Poor Morgan is getting such a bad rap from the other reviewers! There was a reason he acted that way....did you all not finish the episode? It was such a fantastic episode. What a great character Morgan is. You hate him and yet you love him!!
Chuck and Sarah were awesome in this episode. Their characters are great! And their relationship has evolved tremendously over time. I love every episode of every season.
Some episodes are better than others, but they are all still great!
The end of this one was something else, I cannot wait to find out how it all plays out. Love John Casey and his daughter, too!
