Bruce Willis, Forest Whitaker, and Malin Akerman in Catch .44 (2011)
For Tes and her cohorts Kara and Dawn, the job sounded simple enough: intercept a double-cross drug shipment for their crime boss Mel at an isolated diner. But when an unstoppable chain of events unfolds, everyone soon realizes no one is who they seem and the job may be something other than eliminating the competition.

    • Trivia
When the girls are heading out in the car for the first time, Malin Ackerman's character is adamant that they play a tape from the 80s. The tape she chooses is "The Return of Bruno" by Bruce Willis and a small sample of his cover of "Respect Yourself" is heard. Bruce Willis of course plays Mel, their boss, in the movie.
    • Goofs
After Ronny shoots the cop in the head, he then steals and wears his uniform. The uniform should be a bloody mess, instead of completely clean and pristine and the uniform should be too small and tight on the heavyset Ronny, because the cop originally wearing the uniform is of normal build.

Tes: Most women apply secret number two to one thing, sex. The rest of the time we're too real. Too real because it's in our nature to be real, which ultimately is a woman's downfall. But faking it keeps you living in man's land.

Kara: Whoa! Who the fuck wants to live in man's land?

Tes: We're already living in it, guys.

Kara: All right, wait wait, let me ask you a question then. Would you be faking it if you compromise? 'Cause you can't fake compromise.

      Tes: You half can.

Kara: What the fuck does that mean?

Tes: Compromise is half faking. 'Cause if you weren't compromising half you would have it all. In which case you wouldn't be faking, you would be taking. For example, guys compromise when they leave the toilet seat down. They do it because they know they can't win. And I'm not faking it 'cause I don't pretend not to mind when they do leave the toilet seat up - because I do.

Kara: Slow it down. How is that a compromise on your end?

Dawn: Yeah, and I thought you said wde *should* fake it.

Tes: It's a compromise because I'd fake other things to get my way. Or I'd take away the pussy.

Kara: What are you even talking about? I think you're confusing yourself.

Tes: No no, I think it's just too complicated for you to understand.

Kara: No, it's not at all. I get what you're saying. I just don't agree with you. To me compromising is not faking.

Tes: [sighs] Fine. Then we'll just agree to disagree.

Kara: Or we can agree that I'm right because that's a compromise.

Tes: Tell you what: I'll fake it and we can agree on that.

Kara: But you're compromising to agree on faking it. I can explain it to you if it's too complicated.

    Don't Fake IT

This whole film was just awful. 3 out 10 only because it had some actors I would normally have enjoyed anywhere else apart from this film.

Forest Whittaker trying to be Tony Montana and sounding just awful while also changing his accent 3 or 4 times throughout this movie was pathetic. Bruce Willis with his shrivelled nuts grew old. This movie was a really awful attempt at a Quentin Tarantino that lacked in every aspect, from its poor dialogue, the realism, gangsters just don't act that way and its scenes. By the end of this movie, left feeling what a waste of time! Why do they honestly bother making this trash, as this movie certainly will not give them credibility or help them with their careers.

Don't fake it, was the only message in this film as it certainly was a compromise on any genuine attempt at making a movie.
