At first glance, the watch order for the "Transporter" series seems pretty straightforward, with four movies etching out Martin's arc and the shenanigans that ensue because of his unique occupation. However, for the sake of continuity, the release date order needs to be shifted around a bit, while one...

An English-language six-part bio-series led by Brussels-based At-Prod about Madga Goebbels which author Hélène Duchateau describes as a “depressingly modern” miniseries: “Beyond Madga Goebbels’ unique experience, it echoes the growing populist trends in Europe and the processes of radicalization in our time.”

May on Netflix brings more high-profile original series, including "Grace and Frankie," starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin as two women who bond when their husbands -- Sam Waterston and Martin Sheen -- reveal they're gay and leave their wives to be together. It's from Marta Kauffman, the co-creator of "Friends."
Also new, the sci-fi mystery series "Between," in which a disease has wiped out everyone over 21. Unlike other Netflix series, "Between" will air a new episode every week for six weeks, beginning on May 21. Jennette McCurdy from "iCarly" stars.
And debuting on May 22: A comedy special from Jen Kirkman, best known for her appearances on "Chelsea Lately" and "Drunk History."
Here's a full rundown of what's new on Netflix in May 2015, provided by Netflix. As always, all titles and dates are subject to change. We've also go you covered in terms of what's leaving Netflix in May 2015, in case you were wondering.

Last week, I published an interview with Shawn Ryan, producer of one of the two best pilots from Amazon's latest batch. Today, it's the turn of the man behind the other top pilot: Frank Spotnitz of "Man in the High Castle." "X-Files" alum Spotnitz (who most recently produced Cinemax's "Hunted" and TNT's "Transporter: The Series") and director David Semel adapted Philip K. Dick's novel set in a world where the Axis powers won World War II, and America is split into an Eastern region governed by the Nazis and a Western run by the Japanese. The pilot looks fantastic (and has an opening title sequence that perfectly sets up the premise and tone) and does a good job of creating this alternate reality. Not surprisingly, it's not only the highest-rated pilot of this round, but has by far the most votes. As I did with Ryan, I emailed Spotnitz...

Walking out of my screening of Taken 3 a publicist asked me, "So what did you thinkc" I was kind and said, "It's not very good at all." She replied, "Why was it not goodc" I understand she was just doing her job, studios like to get notes from critics walking out of movies. I don't know what they do with them, the movie has already been made, early Thursday screenings of the film were probably already taking place as she asked and I doubt they were going to attempt any reshoots or edits based on my thoughts. But they must do something with them because they always ask. Now, to the question, Why was Taken 3 not any goodc To be honest, I don't even think it's a question that should be asked. The proper reply is to ask, "Did you watch the moviec" Because if you saw with...

"Scandal" appears to have moved past its dependence on cliffhangers “Scandal” was written around cliffhangers in its first three seasons, but the cliffhangers have now passed on to “How To Get Away with Murder.” As Joshua Alston says of “Scandal,” "It’s no longer a political thriller with heavy-to-a-fault spy genre flourishes, it’s 'Grey’s Anatomy' in the White House. And if that’s indeed what the writers are going for, the absence of a central, hashtag-friendly mystery makes perfect sense. I’ve been suspiciously anticipating this direction, but I’m far less worried than I was. If 'Like Father, Like Daughter' is any indication, that version of Scandal would be well-worth watching, if perhaps not the Twitter fuel it once was.” Plus: “Scandal” Secret Service agent talks about his big role. Leah Remini will sub for Erin Andrews as “Dancing with the Stars' co-host Andrews is...

TNT delivers Transporter: The Series to American audiences this Saturday at 9/8c, via the international, small-screen adaptation starring Chris Vance (Prison Break) as the titular delivery man.
“He’s like the Ups guy — but he’s got an Audi,” Vance quips of his character, Frank Martin, who in three big screen outings was played by Jason Statham.
In the Transporter series, Frank is joined by two team members — ex-dgse agent Caterina Boldieu (Italian actress/singer Violante Placido) and later computer whiz Jules Faroux (Hannibal‘s Mark Rendall) — as he is contracted to handle a diverse array of packages, from pop singers to priceless paintings.

TBS unveiled the promos for its upcoming comedies, while sister network TNT presented its upcoming dramas. Some of the shows look promising! Some less so. And some, even less. Let's take a look.Angie Tribeca stars Rashida Jones and was created by Steve and Nancy Carell. Think Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Buzzy's is set in a barbershop. Warning: Contains Boston accents. Your Family or Mine is about how terrible families are. Aren't families just the worst? Boy, they sure are. Proof stars Jennifer Beals and Matthew Modine as a doctor and an eccentric billionaire, respectively. They want to know what happens when people die! (We all want to know that, guys.) Public Morals is a '60s-set cop show with Ed Burns. Don't confuse it with TNT's failed '60s-set cop show Mob City. (Or … do.) Transporter: The Series is a Canadian import. The Librarians is based on TNT's popular TV movies.

Come on, HBO, who is going to fill Lafayette’s shoes once True Blood ends?
Adrianne Palicki will be appearing in a story arc on NBC’s upcoming dramedy About a Boy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Marvel made a big announcement about the future of Mike Peterson (J. August Richards) on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. It’s a big spoiler, so I’ll let you decide if you’ll click on the link. I love the concept, if not the specifics.

That TV series based on The Transporter? It's finally coming to Us television thanks to TNT...
Well over a year ago, we were given the first trailer for Transporter: The Series, which then had an expected arrival time of October 2012. It's fair to say that the show has had something of a bumpy ride between then and now, jumping channels and changing showrunners like toothbrushes.
The latest word has it that Transporter: The Series, with Hunted and The X-Files' Frank Spotnitz now on board running things, will finally air in the Us on TNT this autumn. Hot on the heels of season one will be the second run, which is due to go into production next month for a planned TNT and worldwide premiere in late 2014.

François Berléand, reprising his role from the films as Inspector Tarconi, is also in the cast, alongside Andrea Osvárt, Delphine Chanéac and Charly Hübner. "Transporter: The Series" is a French-Canadian production, and was originally slated to air in the U.S. on Cinemax, though they ended up passing on the project -- a trailer that was released at the time but has since been taken down didn't look particularly promising. The first season has since aired in Canada,...
