One Messed Up Movie!
perfectx-7141530 September 2022
I got to say Lee Sang-woo is one uniquely messed up director! His movies are definitely in a world all their own. While I've only seen three of his films so far, I must say I'm a fan. His style is telling cheap, dark stories that are soaked in dark humor yet are still completely reprehensible. There's no one to really root for here just like the other movies. The characters are mostly unlikable. You might feel for the mentally handicapped son and the girl but besides that these people are horrible human beings. The father is an absolute monster who treats his family like subservient dogs to do as he pleases with them. A dark film for sure with great performances. Watch this if you feel like watching a dark, wild movie!

Messed up but a piece of art

Ummm... What a bizarre super weird dark insane movie but really really good!

I did not expect this to be SUCH A MASTERPIECE! It's a piece of art. The scenes, the acting, the plot are very unique. I laughed, cried, and was shocked at most of the scenes. Wow just wow Korea once again you outdid yourself with your gem movies!

The family dynamic is like nothing you have seen before. The father is very abusive and treats his sons like animals specifically dogs. The vibes are psychopathic and dark due to how the father treats the family. However, the brother-brother relationship is very heartwarming and unique.
