    Weak Dialogue

Earlier in this series, I admired how well the writers presented both sides of an argument, particularly in the area of God and faith. This one was just weak. I was going to say that the arguments made here were about as well developed as a college freshman philosophy paper. That would be an insult to college students. This was closer to junior high. The scenes with Taub and his wife were the best part of this episode and the most real. Cheaters take note.

    • Trivia
Amber Tamblyn's character, Martha Masters, mentions her father and mother being 19 years apart when discussing happy marriages. This is the same age difference between the actress and her husband, David Cross.
    • Goofs
Ramon's daughter's cancer was referred to as "stage 4 glioblastoma," a brain cancer. Primary brain cancer is not staged, it is graded, as brain cancer does not metastasize to the rest of the body.
    • Quotes

Dr. Gregory House: I've been an idiot. I got this argument stuck in my head. If everybody lies, then trust is not only unfounded and pointless, it's... fictional. But trust is not an argument that can be won or lost. Maybe I just have to suspend my cynicism and believe. Maybe it's time I took a leap of faith. I'm sorry. I won't lie to you again.

      Dr. Lisa Cuddy: Thank you.
