fun comedy of errors

Warning: Spoilers
Sarah making Kevin petrified to get him to shake the effects of the J was hysterical. The rest was standard quality, but my favorite kind, plots that include a lot of comedy. The Luc and Sarah bit was the least funny, those two just are better with the drama and earnest. But Kevin / Scotty and Nora were cute. Kitty was less funny but still cute with her irrational freak out on very cute barista boy. I am liking Nora's new beau, though...very likable and handsome. I can't say I missed Holly and David one bit.

Ridiculous....!

I have been a huge fan of 'Brothers & Sisters' since it began & have never missed one episode. This season has been difficult and disjointed with all the cast changes and a rather aimless plot but mostly this episode has turned a corner for me and I may choose to not even view the show any more.

The one issue I've had with the show all along is the hugely alcoholic lifestyle the family has. Sure, they had a winery but I've become increasingly appalled by how much drinking is ALWAYS a part of what they share when they are together. I was hopeful at first with Justin being a non-drinker but I have seen the show deteriorate as they are always so desperate to grab that glass of wine. Believe me, I know what damage alcohol creates in a home. Terrible role-modeling for a family show.

Now in this most recent episode Kevin's nervousness and resulting eating binge results in a state that was depicted in an absolutely ridiculous manner! When Kitty underwent Chemotherapy in earlier episodes there was never any mention of her trying Medical Marijuana for support. Now this down-putting episode is clearly reflecting the writers (cast, producers, ABC, etc?) bias against. So boozin' it up every day is fine?! And how many patients are helped tremendously with approved & legal herbal medicine? I'm done with the show. It showed a great deal of outright prejudice & ignorance on the subject.
