  Tyler Lockwood : I know.

  Caroline Forbes : Breaking and entering the sheriff's house? That move will win you an award.

  Tyler Lockwood : Go ahead, keep dodging. Keep changing the subject. But I know. You're just like me, aren't you? Keep it up, but I'm not buying it. I saw how strong you were with me earlier. I'm not leaving here until you tell me the truth.

  Caroline Forbes : Tyler...

  Tyler Lockwood : You're a werewolf. Say it.

  Caroline Forbes : [giggles]  What?

  [Tyler suddenly shoves Caroline against a wall] 

  Tyler Lockwood : Stop lying!

  Caroline Forbes : I'm not lying!

  Tyler Lockwood : Just say it!

  [Tyler restrains Caroline with an arm hold and his eyes turn yellow. Caroline suddenly grabs Tyler by his collar and shoves him back against the wall and her eyes turn black and her fangs procure as she shoves him to the floor as she growls, and then her fangs retract and her eyes return to normal. Tyler backs away panting and in shock] 

  Caroline Forbes : [casual tone]  I'm not a werewolf, okay? I'm a vampire.

• Caroline Forbes : [bringing bottle and two glasses]  You know, this sounds crazy, but... alcohol helps... or, at least it helps me. You know, with all that inside jittery stuff.

  Tyler Lockwood : [as she pours]  I'm hot.

  [scoffs] 

  Tyler Lockwood : It's like my... skin is on fire.

  Caroline Forbes : Really? I never had any of that.

  [puts down bottle on mantelpiece] 

  Caroline Forbes : I guess wolves are different.

  [chuckles] 

• Caroline Forbes : [preparing to go to school, regards herself in mirror]  So Sarah attacks Tyler, and he pushed her away and she tripped and she fell and she hit her head.

  Damon Salvatore : Does Matt remember anything?

  Caroline Forbes : Uh, he thinks he blacked out. But I think... I think they were both compelled by Katherine. And that's why I covered for Tyler and said it was an accident.

  Damon Salvatore : Yeah, I understand that. The guy's a tool.

  Caroline Forbes : Well, gee, duh. Tyler getting blamed for Sarah's death just opens up questions that he can't answer. And do you really think it's a good idea for him to tell his Mom that he's a... werewolf?

  Damon Salvatore : Well, no.

  Caroline Forbes : And that werewolf road leads straight to Vampire Boulevard. I thought I was thinking fast on my feet.

  Damon Salvatore : Where's your Mom?

  Caroline Forbes : Leading the search party for Aimee Bradley. They haven't found her body yet.

  Damon Salvatore : Oh, teens and their underage drinking. Tragic. Wait. Did you see Tyler's eyes turn yellow?

  Caroline Forbes : They were more... gold with amber highlights.

  Damon Salvatore : Oh.

  Caroline Forbes : Can he turn into a wolf now?

  Damon Salvatore : Only on a full moon. Now he has increased strength, and who knows what else? I wonder what Mason told him? Does he know about us?

  [Caroline is busy on her cell phone] 

  Damon Salvatore : Hey! What did you tell him?

  Caroline Forbes : Nothing. I... I don't think he knows much of anything. He seemed really freaked out, and, honestly,

  [sighs] 

  Caroline Forbes : I felt kind of bad for him.

  [walks past Damon out the door] 

  Damon Salvatore : He's gotta know something.

  Caroline Forbes : All right. I'll ask him.

  [about to leave] 

  Damon Salvatore : [in front of her in a flash, grabs her]  No, you won't, Caroline. He can not know about us. A bite from a werewolf can kill a vampire, so don't be his friend. Do you understand me?

  Caroline Forbes : I understand.

  [exhales] 

  Caroline Forbes : I'm late for school.

  Damon Salvatore : Right.

  [opens door for her] 

  Damon Salvatore : If you wanna drop a hint to your Mom that Aimee's body is at the bottom of a ravine, with a cracked spine, you might save your Mom some time.
