Rowan Atkinson in Johnny English Reborn (2011)

Trivia

Johnny English Reborn

Edit
The writers decided not to bring back Bough (Ben Miller), English's sidekick from Johnny English (2003), and replace him with the new character of Agent Tucker (Daniel Kaluuya). Miller did film a cameo to link the two movies together: when English goes to see Pegasus, he first meets Bough who is now working as the aide of Pegasus (Gillian Anderson), whom he mistakes for a secretary. This scene was cut, though.
Originally, this movie was going to be filmed in 2006, but Rowan Atkinson elected to do Mr. Bean's Holiday (2007) instead.
When Johnny English (Rowan Atkinson) goes and plays golf, it's the same golf course where James Bond (Sir Sean Connery) played golf against Auric Goldfinger (Gert Fröbe) in Goldfinger (1964).
Rowan Atkinson (Johnny English) and Rosamund Pike (Kate Sumner) made their theatrical movie debuts in James Bond movies: Atkinson in Never Say Never Again (1983), and Pike in Die Another Day (2002). Coincidentally, these were the final James Bond movies for their respective leads, Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan.
The cat Philby was named after Harold Adrian Russell "Kim" Philby, a member of the Cambridge Five who betrayed his native U.K. to spy for the U.S.S.R.

Cameo

Lily Atkinson: The girl from whom Johnny steals a motorcycle helmet during his wheelchair chase is Rowan Atkinson's daughter.
