The "8" scale is only applicable if the two new female actresses are eliminated. They have turned a clever, witty show into a half-hour of two hens cackling about nothing of interest to viewers who have waited so-o-o-o long for Slater to return. We come to this show for him. He needs no help to entertain, and the two "new" female additions to the cast have ripped any entertainment value from this show. Slater's style has been missed in the media arena for too long. It's professionalism. sarcastic wit, along with his bedeviling smile can turn 30 minutes into a treat you only wish to repeat. The two new cast members are taking the script down to the level of a half hour of brainless and aimless TV chatter that tries to cover the absence of the original engaging and entertaining story line.
