The movie served as the tenth installment in the original series and the eleventh entry in the franchise. The actor took to social media to share a conversation with co-star Jordana Brewster about filming the rest of Fast X: Part 2 in LA to bring back production to the city following the devastating wildfires.

“Last week, during the fires that displaced LA… my sister Jordana reached out to me and said… Please have Universal film the rest of Fast X Part 2 in LA,” Diesel shared on Instagram alongside a photo of him and Brewster.
