Season 3, Episode 29

On this episode of Siskel and Ebert the film critics review Michael Keaton in THE DREAM TEAM, CRUSOE, POWWOW HIGHWAY, SING and TROOP BEVERLY HILLS. Overall this here is another entertaining episode, which really speaks highly to the two critics as well as how original this show was at the time. It was fascinating watching two smart critics discussing their thoughts and this comes across no matter which episode you watch. The highlight here is probably the discussion of TROOP BEVERLY HILLS and how bad it was. THE DREAM TEAM was another good discussion and Ebert's love for Lorraine Bracco is also discussed.

The teaser said they would review new movies with Major League (1989) and Dead Calm (1989) among them on the following week, but Siskel and Ebert decided instead to do a special show, (They'll Do it Every Time: Part One (1989)), about movie cliches instead.

Eventually, Dead Calm (1989) would be reviewed two weeks later on Winter People/Say Anything.../Field of Dreams/She's Out of Control/Dead Calm (1989), while Major League (1989) would not although they mentioned it positively in other episodes.
