Western Reserve Public Media held public events at Cuyahoga Valley National Park in January, April and May of 2009 to collect the following: More than 40 videotaped oral histories, Hundreds of photos, dozens of items of historical and personal significance.
The first documentary feature film about the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The last National Park to be designated.
The script was created by recording oral histories from over 40 public volunteers, relating their stories and connections to the park.
Created to coincide with the release of Ken Burns' film about the National Parks in 2009. Ken Burns was originally going to included CVNP in his series, but ultimately cut it from the final version.
