When I saw this movie last week I loved it i laughed and cried at the film not for being bad but it was just a good film to take your kids to see. If you're child Is a fan of the show or likes dogs then they would like it but if you're taking your child Just because why but they won't like it as much but that being said it was really good they really Archie into skyes backstory and Thot was really good and the acting was good not good another fir an Oscar but good enough that you didn't get annoyed and the bad guy was thought out well but my one thing Is that there was a scene where the bad guy felt like your average bad guy other than that it was nice to see.
All those familiar pups are back, except with (mostly) different voices which is an automatic point off for me. Another point off is the overall visual look of the film. It looks more like a video game than what the 2021 film looked like, which I prefer over this instalment. My 3rd point off is the plot, which I feel is slightly heavy for the age group we're going for. Again, I felt the 2021 plot was great, while keeping it super light and fun. That being said, this movie moves at a good pace, is quite entertaining, has many laughs for all ages, and does have some return voices which helps. My kids enjoyed it and want to see it again, we'll see if it gets viewed as many times as the 2021 version, which I'm guessing I've seen about 50 times lol!
Even though i shouldn't watch this movie, but here is something about it.
Finally i a movie that literallly for kids, i mean recent animatied movie like elemental that to mature imo and more like 13+ movie, and rated PG just like this movie, this movie more like a simple adventure movie with cute little dogs instead of kissing water and fire.
This movie also has simple straight up story line that very easy to understand, no complicated things and twist.
Things that don't fit with the kids started when one of the dog "let go her past" that maybe will make some kids cry, beside of that this movie is a really solid movie that really for kid.
Even the story is simple but i still asking why the story is not really having moral value, the movie also don't really fit with someone even if they 12 years old or older, it's to expectable and not really tense.
Even though this movie has mediocre story, this movie still really solid and really watchable for kids making it still recomended to watch.

I liked the film. It was energetic and spirited. A few adult themes centred around confidence, family and friendship which was still simple for children to digest made for a simple and straight forward story. The added theme of superpowers made it fun but also questionable. For me, if they have these powers then why would they need their vehicles still? Hmm. My kids on the other couldn't care less. They were happy to see a super powered Skye that can now fly still get into her jet ha-ha. My favourite characters were the newly added pup recruits. Too cute, cuddly and funny. The movie moves away from the innocence of the tv show. There's a lot more action, destruction, shooting, explosions etc. In other words, if this happens to be your first experience of the Paw Patrol then going to tv shows from this? You're going to really struggle. Compared to the tv show this movie is on steroids with action. My kids loved the film and I feel if it had the marketing budget of the Super Mario film it would have done a lot better. It's a really good family movie which will definitely be repeated a few times in my home.

This is not a bad movie, don't get me wrong. Even compared to most garbage that gets thrown at us adults for entertainment purposes.
The mighty movie has all the characters we know (and like or even love) from the tv show. And that's about it. Except for the pups and the other characters we already know, this movie has nothing to do with the Paw Patrol we're used to.
It's the mighty movie, I got this. But even their super powers are different from the tv show (if these episodes were fan favorites, I also get the reason behind this movie and I can blind guess the next installment could be about dinosaurs).
There's more action, more shooting stuff, fighting, explosions and (more real) threat than in all tv show seasons together. It's not innocent anymore - and I guess that's why I feel this is not a Paw Patrol movie.
The kids liked it (because of the characters they know?). The movie has its moments, it has a good portion of fun and the story is not too bad for what it is; entertainment for kids aged 5 or 6 and up. Visually, the movie feels like a tiny step back from the first installment (imho the fur looks weird at times). But, I repeat, this has nothing to do with Paw Patrol from the tv show.

It is a very fun movie for kids, I think almost any child will have a wonderfull time, a very charming story with cute characters, with cool vehicles. At the same time it is an obvious commercial to sell the toys of what you see in the movie. The story accomplishes to be entertaining with a basic structure. I think despite to be a franchise made for little kids, unlike the show, the writers tried to make an story decent enough to entratain the adults in the audience what makes it more a family move than just for little kids as the show. Telling us about the emotional insecurity of Skye for being the tiniest and weakest member of the team and trying to overcome it while using superpowers to defeat the crazy scientist with similar insecurities as Skye.
Visually is decent, the vehicles have cool concepts the characters are adorable, I am not sure if it is the movie or a problem with the theater I went, but there were some scenes where the frame rate of the animtion changed, like if most of the movie the animations where made 24 fps and then few scenes there was a character moving like 12 fps, or like sometimes they forgot to add motion blur to the animation.
I would say is a charming and fun family movie perfect for kids or even and adult looking for a relaxing carefree movie.

My 4 year old boy absolutely loves paw patrol. He would probably rate the first movie as a 10/10.
However, we didn't make it halfway through this movie. We had to leave because it was too scary for him. I don't know if it's because it was in a dark cinema on a big screen and loud, but there were quite a few "threat" scenes early on that scared him and it just got too much for him.
As we were leaving I saw a few other kids in the cinema crying too. There was nothing like this for the first cinematic release. I don't know how they got this one so wrong after the success of the first.
If your child is of a nervous disposition, I would probably avoid this and wait until it's on home release.

Although it's not as hyped as Mario Bros, this might actually be a better movie. My 6 year old daughter loved it while my 8 year old son tolerated it - though he did get excited seeing some characters from previous shows/films from when he watched the series when he was younger. I think he liked it more then he let on...
It's no masterpiece, but there are a few good laughs to be had.
I'm just happy to have something to take my kids to that isn't overtly progressive in its themes. The moral of the story is no matter how small or young you are you can still make a big difference...something a lot of kids will enjoy hearing.

This is a kids film, so I have no idea why people are reviewing it through their eyes as adults.
Yes, there are a more "scary" moments than the first one - But my 2 year old is scared by Scooby Doo, yet had no problems with this. And yes... the voices are a bit different - but only adults will notice that anyway!
So. As a KIDS film - This was great. Entertaining, emotional & funny for both kids and parents. Well produced, well edited, great soundtrack, lots of nods to action/superhero films for adults. Kid lapped up every minute, including the end credits, and didn't want to leave. So 10/10 as far as she's concerned.

This movie is the sequel to the Nickelodeon movie Paw Patrol: The Movie (2021) that is based on the 2013 show Paw Patrol that is still going to this day; I know what the show is about, even though I have not seen much of it, and this movie is based on something that does happen in the show. The sequel Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie (2023) is as good and enjoyable enough as the first movie, with it having great animation and good voice acting for these characters that kids will know because of the show, but also it has fun action and entertaining enough villains where you can have some fun with it. Plus, even if you have not seen the show before, or if you have seen some of it but not too much, you might question some things that happen but will like it despite it being aimed at kids.
The whole cast voicing the Paw Patrol pups and the owner Ryder all do a respectable job voicing these characters, along with side characters having well-known actors voicing them, even in exceedingly small roles that do not make a difference. Unlike the first movie where it focused on the police pup Chase, this movie focuses on the pup named Skye finding out how she was found by Ryder, and her proving to herself that she is not a weak small pup by taking this power crystal, gives herself superpowers, and uses them to save the day from the many threats to Adventure City involving meteors, Mayor Humdinger, and Victoria Vance. There is not much to say about the main characters other than that the way they save people from incidents/accidents is entertaining to watch, and them using their powers from the crystals is cool with the nice-looking animation.
The villain is Victoria Vance who makes a machine to drag meteors from space to come down and crash on Earth where Adventure City is, along with her saying she is not a mad scientist, even though she acts crazy and over the top; the other villain is the return of Mayor Humdinger, but he does not do much other than break out of prison, help Victoria steal the crystals, and have one sequence around the end of the second act leading to the third act/third act climax. The animation is well done and nice to look at, with it being bright and colorful, along with the look and colors from the crystals, the Paw Patrol equipment, how they use their powers, and what the powers look like when they use them; also, the action sequences in the movie were fun and entertaining to watch, even in the third act climax.
If you have kids who are fans of the Paw Patrol show, or if you like the show yourself, along with liking the first movie, then you will have fun or will be entertained with this sequel movie; the movie sequel Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie (2023) is clearly not for me, but I was entertained by it and some fun with it, even though I have not seen much of the show. Not a perfect animated movie, but it is not trying to be, it is just trying to be fun and entertaining.

I've gone for a 7 on behalf of my children.
For the adults, maybe a 5.5.
Animation is clean and colorful, storyline is simple but sweet, upgrades to vehicles still cool.
Toy stores will be raking in the dough again.
9,8 &5 year old boys were excited. They loved seeing the pups again and when my kids can have a OMG moment as big as hubby and I did to moments during Endgame, then they clearly enjoyed it.
The storyline was easy enough to follow without getting too bored and not too obvious that they worked it out too quickly.
When it comes to streaming, it will be a great Sunday night movie on the couch for young families.

On the positive side, the movie succeeds in delivering an exciting plot that emphasizes teamwork, bravery, and friendship-core values that Paw Patrol fans appreciate. The story introduces a fun twist with the pups gaining superpowers, adding a fresh element to their usual rescue missions. This new angle keeps things exciting and ensures that young viewers remain engaged from start to finish. The film's humor is light and accessible, making it enjoyable for kids and occasionally amusing for adults. However, the animation quality left me wanting more. While the characters remain as adorable and expressive as ever, the overall animation feels somewhat cheap and lacks the polish seen in higher-budget animated films. Some scenes appear rushed, with less attention to detail in the backgrounds and character movements. This detracts from the immersive experience that fans might expect, especially those used to the higher quality of the television series. The dialogue can be a bit simplistic at times, which is understandable given the target audience but may leave parents wishing for a bit more depth or cleverness in the script. The movie's pacing is generally good, though a few segments felt slightly repetitive, with rescue sequences becoming predictable after a while.
Overall, this is a fun, family-friendly adventure that young fans will likely enjoy. It captures the spirit of the Paw Patrol series, offering plenty of action and heartwarming moments. However, the animation quality and simplistic dialogue might not fully satisfy adult viewers or those accustomed to more sophisticated animated films.

We were all excited to watch this and it started out pretty good. But as the movie goes on the writing starts to get inconsistent and silly. Drama is created for really no reason and the "laws" of the world the movie is set in get broken and manipulated to fit the situation. It has a few good funny moments where you genuinely laugh but the problems then start to stack up pretty quickly and eventually you're left with a feeling of "silly" and "nonsensical". It's really too bad. The first movie was great. It was light hearted with a good story and some real dramatic moments that this movie didn't live up to.

This movie follows the pups on another adventure. It's a great story that shows and teaches about friendship, adventure, loyalty, loss and much more.
Firstly I have to say the animation of the movie is beautiful. The colours are bright and vibrant when the pups are on screen but shift to darker tones when the villain is presented on screen. All this combined makes for a smooth animation style.
The movie follows not only the main story but also side stores of the pups and some of the difficulties they face. This makes them very relatable, especially for the kids as they may even face the same problem like feeling left out or like they are growing slower than other kids. It's a great way to see how the pups deal with the situation and apply that to there own life.
The movie has a heavy focus on some insecurities and even shows how valuable and selfish we can be without meaning too. The movie does a good job of showing how to learn from your mistakes.
It's a fun movie for the whole family. It allows you to relax and just watch along with the adventure.

I went to see this with our 7 year old daughter. Needless to say, she thought it was a great movie.
She failed to notice quite a few inadequacies.
The movie tries too hard to outdo the last in the series and by doing so, moves even further away from the excellent TV show. It feels like an adult action movie trimmed down for kids. It's formulaic and lacks a pace and storyline adapted to children.

There are a lot of inconsistencies:
- The bad guys hardly move when Paw Patrol are in their base.
- Paw Patrol have a cool tower smack in the middle of town. Even though all the action takes place in the city, they also use a boat on the beach (maybe to sell more toys?).
- The bad guys are disappointing. They mostly talk and Paw Patrol do not have to be their best to beat them, except for a decent finale.
When your six year old nephew visits from out of state and we went to the movies, you see Paw Patrol. For a middle aged adult like myself, it's an okay satisfactory family flick about animated puppies who drive cars and save the world or the neighborhood. The plot is a little absurd but the animation is stellar. The voices are well done. The film is ideal for families with young children. The paw patrol does a very good job. There are some heartwarming moments in the movie. I enjoyed it overall as an adult. My nephew enjoyed it too. It was great for young audiences. The film lasted about ninety minutes. If you want a family film, this is okay.
