Esteemed British actor and presenter Joanna Lumley stars in short film “My Week With Maisy” by director and actor Mika Simmons.
Lumley stars as Mrs. Foster, a retired lady whose cup is half empty, is starting chemotherapy and is anxious. The last thing she needs is to have to share the treatment room with a know it all child, the titular Maisy Jones who wants to grow up to be a lesbian. But through their unexpected friendship, Maisy Jones gives Mrs. Foster much more than just a glimmer of hope.
The film is written by Mark Oxtoby and produced by Georgina French via French Fancy Productions.

Jason Donovan has announced he will be a voice actor in new CBeebies cartoon Boj.
The show stars Boj the Bilby, a rare marsupial from the Australian Outback who burrows to Giggly Park with his musical parents Mimi and Pops. They live in an underground burrow at the heart of their new neighbourhood.
Main character Boj will create new friendships and try to bring together his new community.
Boj has been described as a free-thinking comedy cartoon that encourages children to put their differences aside and get along with each other.
Donovan, who will be the voice of Pops, said of his new role: "It's a pleasure to be involved in such a well-crafted project. I'm interested in great characters, great stories, great songs and Boj has all those things and more.
"As a good Aussie dad Pops is very close to my heart and I'm looking forward to that...

Us network Sprout is to premiere Sixteen South Television's 'Pajanimals' tonight, Monday October 10th at 8.00pm Et. Co-produced by Sprout, The Jim Henson Company and Belfast's 'Sixteen South', 'Pajanimals' is a 52x11 pre-school series designed to help parents and caregivers with a bedtime routine. The show is produced by Colin Williams of Sixteen South (Big City Park, Sesame Tree), with Lisa Henson, Halle Stanford, Alex Rockwell, Jeff Muncy and Andrew Beecham executive producing.
