    What ???

Is it just me or this episode was too much of Eric Foreman. I watch House to see Dr. Greg House not Eric Foreman!! Foreman struggles to solve the case and House struggles to keep himself busy. With so much little of House being shown in the episode it gets kind of boring in the middle. But if you are a Omar Epps's fan, you will enjoy it. But I was thinking, "am I watching Dr.House or Dr.Foreman!??" But, this is House, you never know what is going to happen. Except too much of Foreman, the episode is actually good and have some unexpected turn of events. House is changed, he is actually bonding with other people.

    All in all, good episode.

    Foreman is so frustrating

I've never liked Foreman and this episode (and a few others from season 5 especially) really reiterated that. Foreman is selfish and I can't understand why 13 stays with him. I would have dumped him on the spot after what he did.

Not the Man for the Job

Foreman is a self centered opportunist. He is talented but slipshod. When House says he is not returning, Foreman jumps at the chance to be the head of the department. In comes a guy who designs sophisticated video games. He has had an incident after the testing of one of those games--his hands seem on fire. But he is not your normal patient. He has not trust in Taub or Foreman. Foreman tries to be House and simply goes around making demands. The guy goes rogue and starts using the internet to circumvent the choices of the team (which is now only Foreman and Thirteen).

House takes up cooking to distract him from his pain and unhappiness. But at some point he realizes there is something wrong.

    • Trivia
After six minutes into the show, you see Thirteen's ID badge says "Dr. Thirteen."
    • Goofs
When Vince is hallucinating in the hospital lobby, he throws a cup of soda on Foreman. In the next shot when Foreman is in the background as Thirteen is coming out of the elevator, Foreman's suit is completely dry & free of any stains. When Foreman enters Vince's room to tell him what he thinks he's sick from, Foreman's shirt is stained again.
    • Quotes

Dr. Eric Foreman: I want to run the department.

Dr. Lisa Cuddy: You consider waiting until House clears the lobby before you start angling for his job?

Dr. Eric Foreman: He's not dead, or sentimental. And somebody needs to do it.

Dr. Lisa Cuddy: Not necessarily, Departments of Diagnostic Medicine don't exist. The only reason we have one is because... of House.
