Greatest Christmas movie ever created especially from that young actor Josh reich who played in incredible performance and made the movie 100% percent more enjoyable to watch. Overall the movie was solid and the incredible acting by the actors(and especially Josh reich) made the movie very enjoyable. Also the is pretty well thought out. Also the movie I believe is at the same level as home alone and elf. It is one of the greatest movies I have ever watched. Another part of the acting is that I believe with practice and dedication Josh Reich(Joey in the movie) could one become the future Dwayne Johnson with his incredible acting at such a young age. Overall this movie is incredible and has very good acting.
Obvious, just different by many films of season. Kiss, Santa, a courageous try of siblings to save the orphanage and a couple looking for them. After the Hallmark sweetness, for me a sort of fresh air.
Indeed, not the most inspired humor and the adults seem more immature than children ( fact who, în essence, gives some good dose of realism to story ). Important is the mix of adventure, familiar portraits of bad guys and the tension between main characters.
Just a simple story, reasonanable acting and very familiar situations.
And, sure, the expected end. So, with some indulgence, pretty silly to nice.

Is this supposed to be a parody? A silly comedy? It can't work as romance even though there is a man and there is a woman, who get thrown together, but there is definitely nothing romantic about them.
It is full of caricature characters: ridiculously bad or stupid. The plot is ridiculous as well (and I am not referring to the "real" Santa part). It is closest to a silly comedy for kids but then the dialogue and some scenes are not really appropriate.
There is nothing good about this. The only reason it gets 2 stars is that the actors and cinematography are better than the worse .
The "leading lady" is unpleasant. The leading man is pathetic. Supporting cast is ridiculous.
There is something wrong with a movie where you can't even like the children.
Avoid, if you can. I don't understand how it got such a high score.

If you are looking for a Christmas rom/com like most of those you would find on Hallmark or Lifetime, then you have come to the wrong place. If you go into it wanting that, you won't like it and will give 1 or 2 stars.
This movie is written, directed, and acted exactly like what you would find on one of the children's networks. Everything is juvenile, and I am pretty sure it is meant to be. The romance is what you might expect from that same kind of show, but mostly this is a story about kids facing a crisis and turning to Santa to help. There is even some Santa magic sprinkled in, complete with the sparkles that appear every time there is a Santa miracle.
Leslie and David have a hiccup early when she sees him being hit on by a not so respectable girl in a bar. For a good bit after that she is delivering sarcastic put downs. In the midst of this they stop at something like a biker bar for relief and refreshment. When they are verbally accosted by a biker, Leslie puts him down very nicely. All like you would expect in a kids movie, complete with the pictures of cars moving along a pseudo map.
There is also a one-dimensional villain who caused the crisis in the first place. That too is resolved in a way that completely fits a kid's perspective.
I had no kids to watch this with and was less than thrilled with it, but my rating is mostly based on what it is. It is a kids movie.

A sweet, clean, fun Christmas movie. Very good actors, kids were also sweet. The time they had to get the Christmas miracle was kind of too short, but it worked in the end. There's a lot of room for imagination with the sparkles... to me, they were the Spirit of Christmas, but it could have been the mom. I enjoyed that it was dynamic, and shot in various locations instead of going back and forth between very few locations. Very nice movie, but the little person isn't mentioned in the credits. What was his name? There should have been a couple more, and maybe a reindeer. All in all, it was sweet.
