    Lift up your shirt...

Glee is reaching it's climax, and each new step is an exhilarating one. While this episode was severely shorter than the rest, it packed just as much of an emotional punch as any of its predecessors. With "Mattress", expect less music, more Rachel and Finn drama, and several scenes of sheer pain from Will. Although the absence substantial music is saddening and unusual, the focus of this episode was conflict, and boy does it deliver. This is, by far, the most emotionally involving episode of the season. I would not use the word "gleeful" to describe these past few episodes as the show has taken on a more dark tone with a few crumbs of happiness; mainly because of the music. It's sad to see this amazing show take a 4-month break, but I'm sure next weeks episode will tide us gleeks over until then. Prepare to have your mind blown wide open!

Matthew Morrison's mark (red x) is clearly visible between his feet, when he drops the mattress on the floor in his office.
