I watched the first three episodes and part of number four and then decided simply to give up. This series, supposedly based on real events and people, was just too dry for my liking.
Even the flashbacks to the murders didn't draw me in and nor did the professional rivalries between Dr Leena and Dr Kaius, rivalries of different methods that sabotaged some of the evaluations.
This might appeal to a niche audience but for me, it just wasn't going anywhere.
I presume there are three case studies over the nine episodes so I saw one completed one of a serial killer of women. It just didn't fascinate as far as I was concerned. I didn't get the point of the series. The second case study was of a killer of care home patients but I switched off after twenty minutes.
I've given four stars as the series was well made and the acting convincing. However, it just wasn't my thing.
