Artist's statement: "I have been working with Arch Harmon since I first came to Chicago. Our collaboration has been guided by improvisation and a loose approach to storytelling. When I moved to Uptown, probably the most diverse neighborhood in the city, we started developing this project. We see it as an exploration of our own cultures, and a continuation of our research on the nature of performance. Here is where we felt the most connected. A Brazilian man and a man from the South Side, finding a common language in the alleys of Chicago."
