"Bert" was an original series that aired in the 90's. Someone (probably Sören Olsson) decided to try to revive it.
I don't have a problem with Bert at all. It is a nice show. The problem appears in episode 2. I haven't counted the pop-references but there is al ot of them. Corona, NOCCO and Snapchat is three obvious references. No one making Swedish films and shows nowadays think about that but it makes the show age SO fast and I always considered that a strength in the old show - the problem status the same in the 90's as in the 2040's. This new show does not include that.
Besides, they will never find a better Lill-Erik (who is present as a new role btw) as the one the old show had. Actually, none of the actors is that great.
Why change what is already perfect? The new Bert show won't fly. All these remakes can be nice but not this one.
