For there being no words spoken between the two characters and the context of what is occurring has to be told through the perspective of the narrator alone, Bay of Cadiz's strength comes its beautiful yet sinister narrative. While on surface appearing as a innocent interaction between two strangers, particular phrasing matching with the actions of the actors creates a hidden layer of intention and consequence that will blindside the audience upon first viewing and leave a growing sense of dread when they develop their own perspective as to what is really happening within the film. A surprisingly good short film worth watching!
