Hiro Hayama and Leni Lan Crazybarby in 3-D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy (2011)

Trivia

3-D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy

Edit
The film claimed to be the first erotic 3D film on its trailer, although The Stewardesses (1969) predated it by 42 years.
After the soft porn Hong Kong film was hit hard by free Internet porn, the producers for this film turned to 3-D as a potential money-spinner, following on from the success of Hollywood blockbusters such as James Cameron's Avatar (2009). The producers hoped the erotic period drama would prove to be a titillating hit with 3-D-glasses-wearing audiences and help develop a lucrative, niche film market. But, shooting in 3D took almost twice the time to shoot than conventional films and with a higher budget, more advanced equipment and elaborate lighting. Because of that, the adoption of 3D productions had been relatively slow in the porno industry despite early excitement at its promise.
Based on a classic Chinese erotic text, "The Carnal Prayer Mat."
AV actress Saori Hara retired from the industry after reportedly going through a nervous breakdown following the March 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. She reappeared in 2014 after marrying a 50-year old man and changing her name to Miyabi Matsunoi. She returned to acting, but only mainstream movies. She no longer acted in soft porn.
