FAQ

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

FAQ

Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard) has amassed an army of 'newborn' vampires to support her in her quest to kill Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart). To keep Bella safe, Edward (Robert Pattinson) hides Bella away in a secret camp in the mountains, while the Cullens and the werewolves stay behind to fight off the army of newborns.

Eclipse (2007) is a novel by American author Stephenie Meyer. It is third in a series of four books, collectively known as the Twilight Saga. In order, the books are Twilight (2005), New Moon (2006), Eclipse (2007), and Breaking Dawn (2008). The other books have also been made into movies: Twilight (2008), The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009), The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 (2011), and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 (2012).

Summit announced that Rachelle Lefevre had been let go due to scheduling conflicts. Bryce Dallas Howard took over the role of Victoria.

Forks is a small town on the western side of the Olympic National Park on the Olympic Peninsula in the U.S. state of Washington.

In the book, Bella calls Jacob black (Taylor Lautner) her "sun": [Bella:] "I used to think of you that way, you know. Like the sun. My personal sun. You balanced out the clouds nicely for me." He (Jacob) sighed. "The clouds I can handle. But I can't fight with an eclipse." This refers to Edward, his exact opposite, who represents the moon that is eclipsing him.

First of all, their body temperatures are so high (up to 108 degrees, according to the book) that they don't need to wear clothes but they do have stashes of clothes hidden in the woods. Also according to the book, they roll their clothes and tie them to their legs so that they have clothes with them when they change.

Jane (Dakota Fanning) was working for head Volturi Aro (Michael Sheen), seen in The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009), and Aro was hoping that Edward (Robert Pattinson), Alice (Ashley Greene), and Jasper (Jackson Rathbone) would come and work for him. As long as they were allied with Carlisle (Peter Facinelli), Edward, Alice, and Jasper wouldn't do it, so Aro hoped that the newborn army would kill enough Cullens to weaken their coven.

Leah Clearwater (Julia Jones), in her wolf form, found a newborn vampire who was hiding and decided to take it on alone to prove herself. Jake jumped in to keep Leah from getting hurt, but the newborn got its arms around Jacob and crushed the bones on one side of his body.

No. Like the first two Twilight films, Eclipse has no scene at the end of the credits.

Eclipse includes five minutes of new scenes which again solely revolve around additions to the plot, which might be nice to have for fans. Some of the sequences are deleted scenes that simply were cut back into the flick.
