Constable Sanders wears the rank of a General (star) on his shirt's shoulders but the rank of a Colonel (eagle) on his collars.
When Moon first getting into Mr. Wellington's (John Goodman) Toyota Land Cruiser you'll note that the vehicle is right-hand drive and ,after the court scene, they arrive at Mr. Wellington's house the front number plate is from Queensland, Australia.
At the end of the movie, Moon lights a fire out by the woods to send smoke letters to Kit and Pap. At the end Uncle Mike and Moon walk away without putting the fire out. Moon's character wouldn't do that.
