This very short "Making of…" documentary was produced, by 20th Century Fox, for the DVD release of the film "Paparazzi". The film failed to make back its relatively low budget cost at the box office, and the studio must have hoped for home viewing sales. Surprisingly (or not, depending on your expectations), nothing much is revealed about the "Making of" the movie. Instead, interviewees reflect on the plot of the film, and real-life effects of "Paparazzi", while clips from the movie are shown.

Those interviewed are leading man Cole Hauser, producer Mel Gibson, Robin Tunney, Tom Sizemore ("I don't like them very much"), Daniel Baldwin, Kevin Cage ("It's about time somebody did a movie about these guys"), and director Paul Abascal. Arguably, the director has the most reasoned view. Somebody should have added that we will have the "Paparazzi" as long as people keep buying the publications that print their pictures. Along with the rich, the pictures will always be with us.

*** The Making of Paparazzi (1/11/05) 20th Century Fox : Mel Gibson, Cole Hauser, Paul Abascal, Tom Sizemore
