Exclusive: Rachael Leigh Cook, star of ‘90s movies including She’s All That, has signed a wide-ranging deal with Fox’s Marvista Entertainment.
The pact will see Cook develop, produce and act in a number of projects including a holiday film and There She Goes (w/t), a feature loosely based on her real-life experiences.
It comes as Cook is starring in Netflix’s A Tourist’s Guide to Love, which launches this month.
The deal is one of the highest profile partnerships unveiled by Marvista Entertainment since it was acquired by Fox Entertainment in December 2021.

Gac Media has announced that Full House alum Candace Cameron Bure has signed an agreement with the company to develop, produce, and star in movies and television across Gac Family and Gac Living. The hiring of Bure continues Gac Media’s efforts to rebrand since bringing aboard former Crown Media CEO Bill Abbott last year. In September 2021, the former Great American Country network relaunched as Gac Family, aiming to present more family-oriented entertainment, similar to Abbott’s former employer Hallmark Channel. Christmas in July will return to Hallmark bringing Crashing Through The Snow, starring Amy Acker and Warren Christie, to the lineup.
The annual summer movie celebration will kick off Friday, July 9 and will run until Sunday, July 31. Crashing Through The Snow will make its Hallmark debut Friday, July 10 at 9 p.m. The film centers on Maggie (Acker), who joins her ex-husband Jeff (Kristian Brunn) and his girlfriend Kate (Brooke Nevin) for a Christmas getaway in Aspen, where she meets Kate’s brother, Sam (Warren Christie).
Crashing Through the Snow is from Through the Snow Pictures Inc. Stan Spry, Eric Woods and Ryan M. Murphy are executive producers. Anthony Fankhauser is co-executive producer.
This year’s lineup will also include a 2020 Movie Marathon, Soap Sunday and Countdown to Christmas Greatest Hits, which will feature holiday movies including The Christmas Ring and Crown for Christmas.

Hallmark Channel is getting us in the holiday spirit a little early this year. On Sept. 23, the network unveiled its full movie lineup for the upcoming season, and it's stacked. Just like last year, Hallmark will release 40 original films as part of Hallmark Channel's "Countdown to Christmas" and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries' "Miracles of Christmas."
