The two seasons were filmed back to back.
The ship's outer hull has publicity advertisements of three brands: Dragón Feliz (apparently a Chinese restaurant), Mirinda (a PepsiCo soda sold in Spain, discontinued in the 1980s) and Orange (a telecommunications corporation). Orange also takes care of the ship's communications with Earth: In every video-conference, Orange logo is visible and a prerecorded message mentions Orange when the conversation ends.
