There is alcohol abuse throughout the whole movie by the main character, who obviously has a huge drinking problem. Little smoking.

This is a movie based off of a Stephen King book, that should be a good hint for this section of the parent's guide.
This movie has a disturbing raping scene, might be very emotional and bothering for some week heart and young viewers. Probably for mature people.
