There is a scene where a man kisses his wife, then a scene where he kisses a different woman (spoiler: he isn't with his wife anymore.)

A grown woman is held down by a few teenagers and is raped by another. The woman's child watches. The woman struggles. There is only a few seconds of thrusting seen. This may be the most disturbing part of the movie.

There is a woman who shows cleavage.

A tree reminds a man of a woman, and he playfully talks to it like a woman.

A man has a nightmare that he is in bed with a corpse.

A woman is hit by a bus, and is later covered in blood. It turns out later she was pregnant.

In various parts of the movie, men drown little girls in a lake, and each time has a flashback that show it happen again.

A man touches a tree and is what seems to be shocked (by a spirit, who's body is buried underneath the tree), and throws up.

A woman is hit with a rock continuously, and then her neck gets snapped.

The main character is in a house that is haunted. Things get wrecked, broken, and smashed.

Letter magnets on a fridge move around several times throughout the film, spelling messages.

The main character has disturbing nightmares and daydreams of corpses and other creepy things.

A woman punches the main character. Then he falls into a lake, and she throws rocks at him.

An old man has a woman put a plastic bag over his head, and he suffocates.

A woman puts a curse on four teenage boys and there families to come.

The major profanity is only two words, which are shit and fuck. There are a few hells and more mild profane words.

There is alcohol abuse throughout the whole movie by the main character, who obviously has a huge drinking problem. Little smoking.

This is a movie based off of a Stephen King book, that should be a good hint for this section of the parent's guide. This movie has a disturbing raping scene, might be very emotional and bothering for some week heart and young viewers. Probably for mature people.
