In the early bar scene where Joseph is sitting alone talking to himself, the voice off screen saying, "Are you all right, Joseph?" belongs to director Paddy Considine, who said he was so taken in by Peter Mullan's performance that the question was totally spontaneous.
The script was written in one week.
An adaptation of Paddy Considines 2007 short film Dog Altogether.
The title of the film refers to Jurrasic Park (1993) and the scene where the Tyrannosaurus' footsteps shakes a glass of water. The character of Peter Mullan thus evoke his deceased wife in this film, where when she moved upstairs in their house she also made objects shakes.
