The character of Adam in WeWork was SO intense and fast talking and in a mostly loud monotone, and was so brutally manipulative, it made me nervous. VERY nervous.
This would have been an 8 except they did not include the fact that Adam - and Rebekah - presented papers that showed they had a hella lot more square footage than they really did in order to fool the bankers. Now, bankers are not anyone's favorite people, but this was a flagrant steal. It was never brought up in this series and I don't understand why. It's very important. IHMO.
Okay, back to the series. WoW! I cannot imagine working in that environment, but I am an old fart.
It is amazing what they got away with. Once again, the rich get richer.
Now, Rebekah. A real piece of work. Interestingly she found a husband who was just like her father - a hustler.
This was a well-done series. From top to bottom. Very watchable, in short sessions. No one day binging for me.
Pay attention so you can pick up what lying manipulators act and sound like: Overwhelming!

This is not a series for everyone don't read me wrong. The acting is amazing but the theme if you give a chance Is even better. It's shot like a movie but it's 8 episodes of nearly 60 minutes full. It's really a good and strong story. Actors give their heart and soul. Jared Leto is unrecognizable and I can't see someone else do that role. Anna Hathaway at first I was not sure. And at episode 3. She was getting a lot more and feel like she is the principal character. It's a good series / film kinda. I'm just happy with Apple. It give me the time of my life. The quality is there.
The first episode is great, it sets up the story of WeWork in such an engaging and energetic way with upbeat music and awesome monologues from Jared Leto's character. The performances are excellent and the story is interesting.
However it is a little odd how they idolize the two main characters so much and make their story seem inspiring despite this show being advertised as a satirical look at the narcissistic founders of WeWork. Sometimes they'll have a one off line from Adam that makes him seem full of himself but he is shown in such a positive light within the first 3 episodes but it's kinda hard to root for them.
The pacing in this movie can be very iffy at times, it really feels like they're trying to fill the time with a lot of pointless subplots and they're stretching out the story to get to 8 episodes. Honestly I think the first about 3 hours could've easily been cut down to 2 hours.
Overall I like the story of the show but I'm worried they're just gonna stretch this story way too thin and it will become a bore.

I love this show and the acting isnt bad at all. Interesting look at how a brilliant idea can go so bad. Interesting and entertaining and jared leto Is very convincing as a foreigner. Worth the watch.
Great show! I don't understand why the ratings are so low. This show is utterly entertaining, fast paced and fun to watch.
The story seems to be almost unbelievable but it is actually quite close to the real events. You also might say the characters have low moral standards and are only money and success driven but I personally ended up liking Adam for his crazy ideas and guts. He is as crazy as they come but he is damn fun to watch!
Acting from all the main roles are spot on and Jared Leto simply superb. The production also feels very well crafted and movie like. It is clear that Apple Tv really invested on this one and the result is brilliant.
Watched 5 episodes so far and I can't wait to see the last 3.
Give it a shot...you will not regret it!

- TriviaThe scene with a beer tap left on is a reference to an actual incident which happened at a WeWork space. A friend who was visiting a workspace member accidentally broke the head off a beer tap but didn't tell anyone, walking away and ignoring it. Beer flooded the entire workspace and saturated the non-WeWork retail space below.
