- Ahsoka Tano: I'm Master Skywalker's Padawan. The name's Ahsoka Tano.
- Captain Rex: Sir, I thought you said you'd never have a Padawan.
- Anakin Skywalker: There's been a mix-up. The youngling isn't with me.
- Ahsoka Tano: Stop calling me that! You're stuck with me, Sky Guy.
- [Rex bursts out laughing]
- Anakin Skywalker: What did you just call me? Don't get snippy with *me*, little one! You know, I don't even think you're *old* enough to be a Padawan!
- Ahsoka Tano: Well, maybe I'm not!
- [smugly]
- Ahsoka Tano: But Master Yoda thinks I am.
- Anakin Skywalker: Well, you're not with Master Yoda right now.
- Ahsoka Tano: So, if you're a captain, and I'm a Jedi, then technically I outrank you, right?
- Captain Rex: In my book, experience outranks everything.
- [the clonetroopers' transport lands on Teth under enemy fire]
- Clone Transport Pilot: Welcome to paradise, rock jumpers!
- Asajj Ventress: [Force choking Rex] Where is Skywalker?
- Captain Rex: [clutching his throat] I don't talk... to Separatist scum!
- Asajj Ventress: [drops Rex and waves her open palm] You will contact Skywalker *now*.
- Captain Rex: I... will contact Skywalker now.
- [Ventress smiles; in another room, Anakin stuffs Rotta into Ahsoka's backpack]
- Anakin Skywalker: Let's see you get away *this* time.
- [his wrist comlink beeps]
- Captain Rex: [over comlink] Anakin, come in.
- Ahsoka Tano: [confused] "Anakin"?
- Captain Rex: We've held the droids, sir.
- Anakin Skywalker: That's not like Rex!
- Captain Rex: What is your location?
- Anakin Skywalker: [narrows his eyes] Ventress.
- Ahsoka Tano: Dooku's assassin?
- Anakin Skywalker: She's here to kill the Hutt. Come on.
- [they leave]
- [a holographic map of the battle field]
- Obi-Wan Kenobi: The shield generator is somewhere in this area. They're slowly increasing the diameter and keeping it just ahead of their troops.
- Captain Rex: Heavy cannons are gonna be *useless* against that thing.
- Obi-Wan Kenobi: As they get closer, I suppose we could try to draw them into the buildings. That *might* level the playing field a bit.
- Ahsoka Tano: If that shield's gonna be such a problem, why don't we just take it out?
- Captain Rex: Easier said than done.
- Anakin Skywalker: Well, I, for one, ahem, agree with her. Someone has to get to that shield generator and destroy it. That's the key.
- Obi-Wan Kenobi: Well, then, maybe you two could tiptoe through enemy lines and solve this particular problem together?
- Ahsoka Tano: Can do, Master Kenobi.
- Anakin Skywalker: *I'll* decide what we do.
- Obi-Wan Kenobi: If Rex and I can engage them here, you two might have a chance to get through their lines undetected here.
- Captain Rex: They won't get far. The droids far outnumber us, so our ability to street fight is useless without the use of heavy cannons. They will march forward under the protection of their shield until they're right on top of our cannons, and then they'll blow them away.
- Ahsoka Tano: It won't be that hard.
- [to Anakin]
- Ahsoka Tano: Come on, Master. Let's go.
- Anakin Skywalker: [follows Ahsoka away] If we survive this, Snips, you and I are gonna have a talk.
- Captain Rex: [watches them go] They make... quite a pair, don't they, sir? You think they have a chance?
- Obi-Wan Kenobi: They better. If they can't turn off that shield generator before it reaches the heavy cannons, there'll be no escape for *any* of us.
- Obi-Wan Kenobi: Move your troops back to the heavy cannons! Do everything you can to protect them! I'll delay the droids!
- Captain Rex: But--!
- Obi-Wan Kenobi: That is an *order*, Captain!
